Withe the Obudu cattle ranch, Tinapa, water falls scattered all over the place and very interesting historical and cultural site as well.
    In addition, u might want to check the capital city of Abuja. A planned city with it own unique vibe and lots of rich people 😄

      You're so correct. I've been to most of the places. Beautiful. But the elites somewhat never embrace or sell local tourism. They junket to Dubai, UK, USA always. I've tried selling local tourism to elites but they won't buy. Just a gestural trip to this place by a top politician to rest with wide publication in the media will go a long way. Use wizkid or Davido or Burna Boy as an ambassador for the places...that'll be a great achievement. The youth will start looking inwards for holidays. As it is now, if they don't post Paris or Dubai or London on instagram, they won't trend.🤣 If we look inwards, massive fx would be saved and earned. If we believe in our tourism, oyinbo will come and try it also.😄

      @@Tirelesswarrior The governmet is actually to blame, the federal government should consider hosting some international dignitories or summits in these areas and open it up to the world, everything does not have to be Abuja or Lagos. The city I live in was a very small city until they hosted the winter olympic, suddenly the world realized the beauty of the city, today every millionaire including ex-presidents of the country come to the city to ski. There is a saying here that every millionaire in the country has a house in the city, definitely not going to be the case, but goes to show how one single act could open up a place. A lot of Nigerians from certain part of their country have not even travelled far and wide in their country, but they go out to insult their own country abroad and belittle themselves in some smaller African countries? Broaden your horizons. Travel beyond UK and US, and visit the real world of Mozambique, Jamaica, Kenya, El Salvador, Mexico, Colombia, Cambodia, Ivory Coast, Brazil, Chile, Tanzania, Surinam, Trinidad, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Zambia etc etc. Then you will have a more balanced perspective when assessing your own country, seeing that they all face, to varying degrees, the same issues you face in Nigeria.

      Please stop it. The least developed states in southern Nigeria are Akwa Ibom and Bayelsa. One of the reasons for its cleanliness is its small population, and don't forget that Akwa Ibom receives the second-highest monthly federal budget after Delta State. That state's development falls well short of the funding it receives. What precisely is your argument for involving other states in this issue when Akwa Ibom receives more money every month than Rivers state?

    • @Uyomayor
      @Uyomayor 2 роки тому +6

      @@nenitafrica6851 don't say what you don't know. What do you understand about development? Don't forget akwa ibom only started to grow about a decade ago, stop comparing it with states that have been in existence since forever and have failed to live up to expectations. And lastly, Akwa ibom is a state of roughly 6m people, who are industrious and law abiding. Stay in your over populated and lawless state and leave akwa ibom alone.
