Guys, thanks for censoring the apparent swears. I watch with my son and it really helps. He likes the chicken call and I don't have to remind him about bad words. Keep up the great content!
Dan you are very welcome, thank you for the comment. That made our night, very funny man. Appreciate you bringing up your son on some PACKOCKING good PACKOCK!!
I love watching these videos but something I figured out is that my bicycle. It's a JR 27.5, I've been wanting to get an air shock but it's a straight steerer. But that's about the only downside about the bicycle. Everything else is awesome! If you guys decide to change the wheels on your JR 27.5, I suggest going with 2.6 tires on both wheels. It fits! I tried it 2nd I was so excited bros! I also got the mt200 for my back break. And it friggen shocked me when I felt the breaking power, thank you guys for these videos and your time!
Man thank you for your comment! Awesome you are starting the upgrade phase, nice and also thank you for the heads up brother. Hope you shredded this WEEKEND!!
I use the strap on those disposable mask and tie it around the stantion and use that as a DIY Compresion ring. it seems to clean the stantion better than a regular compression ring.
Too clean up the cockpit look in to a bontrager drop lock it’s a dropper and a front and rear lockout in one clean setup got mine installed last week and it’s perfect
I have a SR Suntour fork as well and it is awesome. Super rigid (durolux 36) great suport and the damper works flawlessly. This fork you've got I hope will be as good as the one I have.
Appreciate it guys! Got the stuff ordered and hopefully we'll have her out riding in the next week. 🤣I figured that was the secret! Maybe my daughter will let me have one 😂, I need all the help I can get!
Yes Sir, not a problem brother. I hope all goes well and please feel free to ask a few questions 😊. Now remember, if you go to a 1x you are gonna need to resize the chain if its not setup already. 😉 That means chainbreaker and Masterlink
Nothing like a good Fork, but sometimes you're just not in the mood and want to just stay fully rigid.....not me because I like a good ride. A hard ride might cause injury to your lower back from too much pounding 😉
I’d recommend speeding the rebound up quiet a bit. Too slow rebound will result in “packing” condition where the fork doesn’t fully recover prior to hitting another bump. It causes the fork to ride lower in the stroke giving in a harsher feeling.
It looks damn nice on there, really looking forward to seeing you shred trail in a real time review! 😁 Have a safe Memorial Day, guys, see you next video 😊✌️
Captain says that is the best budget fork option for the intermediate rider under 200lbs. I wanna try one now that I know what a fox and a marzocchi fork feel like. 😎⚓👍
It's a nice looking thing, not sold on the remote lock out or the axle thingy, looking forward to seeing how it does on the trails. Take care gents 😎🍺👍
@@WOLFTICKVIDEOS no, sadly not, I think it'd be a nice thing to do but we don't do it here in the UK. We've got a big celebration coming up this weekend for the Queen, 70 years on throne, so that's gonna be good 😁🍺
That is a really good looking fork can't wait to see how it handles what you throw at it. And I'm with you I don't like mud guards if you're not getting dirty you're not riding hard enough
I bought this fork a couple month ago for my Siskiu D6 Project. I have the 35mm Suntour Aion on my Ragley and love the fork. So this doesnt have as good of a damper but it will be a little while before I finsih the project but will be interesting to see how this turns out AFTER have the Trace RC on there :)
Just cut a rubber band and tie it around the stanchion with a square knot for the compression ring, I actually like the rubber band over the O ring. I used to buy a bag of rubber bands at Walmart for $1, with inflation, they're probably $9 now. Re: the stanchion; no stanchion should be less than 32mm. You had me at 34. I know that this is going to be a good fork. Quick insertion isn't important after the age of 50. Speaking of insertion, good to see the fork going on a bike with a dropper post. It will respect you in the morning along with that other promise.
Top out clunk is real worth this damn fork...I have one and it did it from day 1. Tore it apart and still couldn't dial it in. Hope yours works better than mine did Edit: put a ring on yourself, just unbolt the lowers and pull em off, there's no oil bath in em
I wanna see a video comparing it to epixon. From what I know, they are pretty similar. I have tried the Raidon like 2 week ago on an ebike and it was good.
Very nice looking fork, looks good on the ole DP! Why no compression ring SR Suntour? Favorite segment is the Wolfman Dyno, especially when he gets surprised!
The ziptie thing is only meant for one time use, to set the sag, then you take it off. Wird it did not come with an O ring. Probably mistake at factory, or related to pandemic, not being able to get o rings, but if factory stocked up properly it should not happen.
@@WOLFTICKVIDEOS there are reusable zip ties, they have an easy to unlock mechanism, the thing sticks out so you can just press it down no need to poke it with a screwdriver or alike, those might come with some bleed kits. Those are big. But perfect for this job.
With old school geometry the fork dives easier, but does not as much on slack head angle, if bike is too small it gets even worse. The remotes actually make a difference then, but with modern bike it won't do as much.
