    I've a similar workflow. I'm using Obsidian for PKM but managing task with Todoist. Using Drafts as well to save some random ideas quickly.
    I'm also using Akiflow to managed Todoist's tasks in a "proper" calendar for timeboxing purpose.

    I agree that tasks with non negtiable due date should go on a calendar app, while tasks with no strict due date shoudl go on a task management app. Great point.
    Todoist can set a due date, but I use it more as a scheduling or prioritization tool for a particular date... maybe I could also avoid due dates at all .. let's see

    How do you capture context during capturing task?

    Hi,
    just asked under the Todoist workflow video, however, will post here as well. How do you handle when you need to be reminded about at specified time? Reminder feature is behind paywall in Todoist. I feel like for this purpose Apple's Reminders works greatly, however, the rest of their Reminders app UX is just garbage (desktop, mobile is quite ok-ish).

      Hi Petr! Yeah I know exactly what you mean, I think if that feature was free no one would pay for todoist! Personally, I use my calendar for anything that I want to be reminded of! I'm sure reminders works well for the odd reminder! The desktop UX really is tragic though :(

    Cool organisation. I also use todoist but have no idea how you managed to have the today view show recurring tasks above priority items? I'm only able to sort by priority with my recurring events being mixed with whatever their priority level is. Any help?

      Mine does that by default so I'm not sure!

    @FromSergio Can you explain how you use Drafts on your Apple Watch, ie. how do you get what you record from Drafts to Todoist to process

    • @FromSergio
      @FromSergio  11 місяців тому +1

      Hey Ken, I manually add whatever i captured on drafts into todoist/obsidian. I don't use it often, it's only for long ideas/long projects that take more than a sentence to explain and because of that won't fit into todoist via the apple watch because of their character limit. Whenever I get back home I'll just open drafts on the mac and process it!

      @@FromSergio thanks appreciate your reply. I can see myself using it that way as well for my longer ideas.

      I have! It's not for me, I prefer to have the calendar separate from my todo list :)

    How can this Obsidian way of working that are clearly applicable to reading books for creating content can be applied to technology projects?

    Todoist are very good for today todo but for backlog it's bad on free version. personaly I use Reminder as backlog

    • @FromSergio
      @FromSergio  Рік тому

      Yeah it is, I have found no need for a backlog though!

    What makes Drafts so good? I have Windows PC and Anroid watch, so I cannot use that. I am looking for a comparable app for my android watch. Any recommendations?

    • @FromSergio
      @FromSergio  Рік тому +1

      There's nothing special about it! It's just got impeccable speech to text recognition! I'm not on android but I'm sure there's something equally good!
