I was walking home from work one day around 8 o'clock it just got dark. I had about a 15 min. Walk. Then I heard a voice come from the sky that sounded like a echo shout "turn arooound" the voice was so big it took up the whole sky and when I did turn around there was a brown Oldsmobile 7ft. behind me going 5 mph, with the passenger door wide open and the headlights turned off. when I said omg (because of shock), one guy slam the door closed and the other guy flipped the headlight switch on and drove off past me, screeching the tires. God knows everything. He knew their hearts and that they did not have a spirit of boldness, he knew all it would take was for me to just simply turn around. He did not tell me to run because I would have. they were close enough to me to hop out of the car, bear hug me and wrestle me into the car but GOD knew their hearts. I tried to get the license plate number but it was too dark to see it. I watched them drive all the way down the street till they got out of sight because I wanted to know what direction they were going in to notify the police. Then I bolted and ran the rest of the way home. He Saved my life. 😊🕎🛐 forever grateful.

I'm a young Christian and I really want to hear God's voice. I'm passionate and I think I hear God's voice, it's just that I think it's just me. And then when I feel like He's trying to talk to me, I feel like I'm being tempted by the enemy. I really need spiritual help to define whether I'm hearing in mind isn't a temptation. I really need you guys to pray for me, please. Please pray for me. And stay strong in the Lord!

Same, I am also young and eager for understanding of God's voice. I believe that Satan tempts and tries to distract and confuse our minds because he knows of the potential that we have to be used and matured by God. Don't give up and don't give in! Now, I have before fallen under great deception by the thoughts of my mind. I was "trying too hard" to be closer to God through works (HE does not judge by works alone, but by faith). I listened to crazed instructions given to me in my mind that harmed me physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. I had been tossed and turned as the waves by evil demons due to my own anxiety. I behaved in ways of a obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) to perfect every thing that I did, the way that I prayed, worshiped, etc. Behavior as this denies the sufficiency of the gift of salvation that is Christ Jesus. This is an example of Satan using one's faith against them. I prayed continuously on my confusion, frustration and stress, and Jesus rescued me! HE taught me that HE'd never place us in harm's way and that His word is always confirmed: through His Word (try the Spirit by the Spirit), through an outside source in our surroundings that lines up to meet the sense and necessity of the instruction to be done (for ex., in the middle of a sermon, God would not tell you to do something obnoxious; true worship displays, not distracts; the Spirit of God would not interrupt the flow of the Spirit (itself)), or by the consistency of that thought , perhaps days past, as God is patient and will not abruptly change HIS instructions.Remember that not every though that we think is from God, and there is NOTHING wrong with seeking clarity of God's word to you or instruction (what, not why). In fact, in the Word of God, we are encouraged to ask for wisdom, and it we shall be granted by God. God is not the author of CHAOS or CONFUSION, but peace. Satan is the author of confusion and chaos. When you suspect that it is Satan who begins to tempt or confuse your mind with odd instructions, simply say "Satan, get behind (away from) me, in the Name of Jesus!" or "Satan, you are the author of chaos and confusion. God is of love, truth, and peace. I rebuke you in the Name of Jesus!" God does not tempt with evil nor provoke one to wrath because of instruction.When it is God instructing you, the outcome of your actions would be peaceful and wise. Let us be prayerful, still, for ourselves and this nation as a whole, that we all may come to repent of our sins, trust and love Jesus completely.
We must have more faith and confidence in the Word of God and HIS promises to us as given! For it is written, "if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind. For that person must not suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways."-James 1:5-8

Just today I cried and I told God that I put my worry’s and anxiety’s in him and I put my trust in him and I asked him if he wanted to say anything to me and a though popped in my mind saying “I love you” not in my voice, not in a voice per say but just a thought. I felt an overwhelming feeling of happiness and joy and safety, and I started crying. I told him I loved him too. I’ve never heard God speak to me. But I felt that was him. I feel like I’m doing something right. I feel worry less and like a weight is lifted off me. I feel happy and okay.

I once was watching videos of god, and a random feeling of joy took over my body as I looked outside of my window. It was amazing.
I know God spoke to me earlier today. I was sick and I was so so so cold! I was freezing! I was under blankets and I was still REALLY cold. So I decided to take a warm bath. But my sister had gotten in the shower before so the water was really cold. I prayed to God to make the water warmer. And God did! The water immediately was warm and I wasn’t freezing anymore. A small miracle, but one that meant a lot to me. ❤️
Edit: a lot of you are making jokes about this and here’s what I want you to understand
•It was during winter. Everything was FREEZING
•I was actually really sick. I had the corona virus, before people really knew it was a thing. But yes, I was actually pretty sick and was sick for two weeks.
•The water in the house had stopped being warm for the past two days. Scientifically speaking, how would it have suddenly became warm? It was God.

God spoke to me clear as day once. It was in February of this year. I was newly saved and fasting with my older sister and my pastor told me to pray for the Lord to open my spiritual eyes. I was like okay cool, whatever. So when I went to sleep that same night, a very authoritative voice in my head said “Open!” And it was like I woke up by force (in a good way). When I opened my eyes, my vision was distorted; I couldn’t really see anything. The lights were already on in the apartment but then things started getting even brighter. It was awesome! I didn’t really know what was happening and of course I responded with fear lol. My pastor was congratulating me that God opened my spiritual eyes. Haven’t heard His voice like that since. I want that back! This video is perfect 👌🏾

A fork in the road for me is when I was contemplating life by a river (an atheist at the time) and I noticed a leaf that had washed up... It literally had "OPEN FAITH" written in all caps with some type of purple marker. I looked around and there was no one... No one near by that could have wrote it - even if there had been - the chances of it finding me at that exact time and place... lost... wondering... From that moment on I have kept my eye out for God's grace / synchronicity and I see it... everywhere.
I had something kinda similar as a baby Christian. I was in the bathroom looking in the mirror and something happened I started to pass out and I heard a voice tell me I was righteous. I came to and I will never forget it. I have questioned it but I believe it was true from God or audibly from the Holy Spirit.

I felt like this a few weeks before, pray and fast; if you have anyone you can talk about this and receive advice, please do so ( in my case, as a teenager growing in my faith, when I feel disconnected with God I ask my mom for advice. It helps a lot.) Yet the best thing you can do is pray in private on your knees and express every little detail of thought (FULLY HONEST) and worries; who better to ask for help than to him. I once had a strange/beautiful experience regarding god.
I was new in the faith, maybe had a couple of months since I accepted Christ in my heart. I remember I was so devoted. I prayed, I read the bible, I stopped all secular activities I once did, and really devoted my life to god. Back then I lived with my mom in a small apartment where the kitchen and living room were not separated by wall or anything. I remember I was sleeping on the couch when suddenly something woke me up. I opened my eyes & I SWEAR all I saw was white. It was a super intense white light that the kitchen cabinets that were normally visible from the living room were hardly visible from this intense white light! It lasted a second or two, and then it vanished. I even got scared cause I remember when I saw it, I kinda got up and moved back towards the couch surprised. The light didn't hurt my eyes or anything. I will never forget that experience, EVER.
I've had other experiences too, some good and some bad. I just wished I was like I was back then, more devoted to god and his ways :/ Now everything has gotten so hard. Stress and anxiety have just been too much :(

We have been taught to play tricks with our minds. We are fooling ourselves. Most don't even know that they contradict themselves.

I was praying a couple days ago, and I completely surrendered everything to him& asked him to take my burdens. and in that moment he put song lyrics on my heart: “come to me when you’re weary and I’ll give you hope when you’re hurtin, I’ll give you rest from your burdens now”. and it just made me feel so amazing bc even though I already knew God was listening, it really touched my heart to hear this from him.
We All Need Prayer: God I ask You in Jesus’ name, don’t let me be doubleminded or become doubleminded, but stand firm on Your True Word (God's Word). Cause me to read, study, and meditate upon Your True Word and operate in the wisdom, knowledge, and understanding of Your Word daily. Let me always and forever walk in hope, faith, love, obedience, and confidence in You and Your Word. God all that I have asked of You, please do the same for the writer of this prayer and every Christian that I know. Thank You Jesus! Amen, so be it, and it is so!

I told my sister in Christ that I feel God working in me and I don't think he wants me to post that Bible verse. She said, 'well it is God's Word, so there is no harm in sharing it! You know the Enemy doesn't want you to share the Word of God'. But I believe I know the Presence of God enough to know when HE is leading me... so I did NOT post it. Then the Holy Spirit brought to my mind, the disobedience of Moses, when he struck the rock for water more than once so the children of Israel would have water. I still have not posted that scripture and my interpretation of it. And I am going to leave it alone.

God speaks to you through the Holy Scriptures.
Several months ago, the word “Discernment “ appeared to me suddenly. I knew that God’s spirit was speaking to me because I never use this word in my vocabulary., and my spirit was moved to “get up,” and “seek”. I immediately researched the term from the Biblical perspective, and shared how God had given me this word with others. Then it dawned on me that I had asked God in my prayers to help me make the right decisions and judgements about certain situations ; and to give me wisdom and understanding of what is “truth” in order to serve HIM better. It’s amazing that I am viewing this video, and Allen Parr speaks about “discernment” to address this topic. Thank you for your Word Lord, and for anointing Mr. Parr to deliver truth and wisdom through your Son, and the Holy Spirit. Sharing.. I got to hear Him audibly three times, and I love to share this because I was born deaf but I heard Him with clarity as if I were a hearing person. He is so amazing that way and there is no barrier for Him!! I have been learning how to hear Him from within. When I am confident I heard Him internally, it feels like a thought that came through my mind that I just knew I did not think on my own. It also sticks.. like you cant forget it or let it go. He usually speaks truthfully and straight to the point. I wish I could hear Him everyday, but I know He speaks to us in many, many different ways and He is always with us.

This message couldn’t have came at a better time. A lot of false converts believe they’ve been saved because of a feeling or even some spiritual experiences. But, the Holy Spirit makes you into a new being, a spirit that falls in line with the word.
I’ve experience this myself. I had an encounter with the Holy Spirit after reading the bible. After the encounter I was able to speak in tongues. For a while I was following the word but, at some point I kept struggling with sins and following my heart. So I was sure that I didn’t have the Holy Spirit and my spirit wasn’t as matured.
To mature my spirit I needed to read the word. Whenever I had a sinful thought I had to always to remember the word to help me get my mind right.
If you read the bible and put your pride aside and personal values aside. You realise that we are following Jesus to follow God’s will not our own. And that is what can lead to people being deceived when reading the word, when they read it with their own will in mind.
For example, the bible clearly states it’s stand on homosexuality. You may not like what your reading and ignore it out of your own will. The same with some Hebrews saying that salvation is only for the Israelites. Just read the word with no bias and through the Holy Spirit and you’ll see it right.
Remember when Satan tempted Jesus, Jesus’ only won because of the word. The word is enough to give you victory.

I don’t know if you have had the experience but, if you did you’d understand my explanation of how I felt.
Basically while reading the bible I start crying, and suddenly I started to repeatedly tense my stomach, as I felt like something was trying to come out from my stomach. My parents heard me and my father (a pastor btw) starts praying for me. And he shouts, “let it come out”. Then suddenly I start to speak in tongues. As I am crying tears of joy. I even start to sing in tongues.
I can still speak it now and when I do I can feel the words coming from my stomach, because that is where the spirit resides. When you speak normally, you generally feel the words forming in your head before your brain causes your mouth to say what your thinking.
With tongues it’s fully spiritual. It’s like my brain is turned off and I don’t even know what I’ll say until I say it. I am pretty sure I was and still do speak in the language of the Holy Spirit. It was the day I received a spiritual gift.

I believe in you, ive had dreams come true with usually a detail or two changed from fort worth to fort lauderdale or something like that in them. Please forgive me but i see the pentecostal speaking in tongues as just gibberish and not authentic.

The bible says that if you speak in tongues with no interpreter it is useless. Especially to athiest, if I speak to them in that language it’s gonna be gibberish. That’s why I just use tongues when praying. I don’t advertise my gift by shouting it out (like my dad lol). But I am looking to find an interpreter or maybe have God give that gift also.
Also, another spiritual gift I have is the gift of mercy. I realised this after Allan parr’s vid on spiritual gifts. After seeing it I realise that I am unable to stay angry at someone for more than a day. I just sleep it off and suddenly have the willingness to forgive the person. It happens a lot with my siblings and my friends. I was never an angry person thank god. Cause I look at some people I know that would start a fight over the smallest things. So much Pride. From my perspective I thank God for making me the way I am.

You know it’s from God when u have been praying on it for awhile and then u get ur answer, (Prayer) . God isn’t a genie. God speaks to me through the Word, Worship music and sermons especially after I was just praying about it and then I watch the sermon and exactly what I prayed for, the pastor is preaching, Praise God

When you fast you put everything away and can focus on God alone, because everything (social media, tv, food, distractions...) away, all you have is the Bible, once you get tired of reading, listen to worship music, then you'll see how praying will be easier. research on how to fast properly.

This just gave me so much confirmation. I received the Holy Spirit a few months ago and I started hearing from God. God literally speaks to me through His word and give me soooo much confirmation. I literally tell my friends to seek the Holy Spirit and OPEN THE WORD. This video gave me confirmation that I’m leading them in the right direction.
As a struggling Christian, I feel like I have this question come up often. Figuring out what's from God can be difficult (at least for me). However it is such an important thing and as my relationship with Him continues to grow, I truly hope this will get easier and easier.

Concerning #3 & #4, whether we're seeing advice from other believers, or hear something from a preacher or teacher, it's always important to go back to prayer & scripture to test the advice you received against God's Word. God's Truth matters more than man's opinions. It's important that God is our ultimate final word, not other people's opinions. So, even after getting advice from other believers (in whatever form that may come), test it against scripture and prayer to see if that is what God would have you do.
