I subscribed to you when I was still an atheist. I found you because I was interested in the book of revelation and you had videos on it. Then I read the entire Bible. I listened to Jordan Peterson and started to wake! Then Kanye released his album and got talking to some people on the internet about Christ. I tried praying and my prayers were answered. I slowly grew closer to God, and you were one of the first places in my journey. Thank you forever and ever!
I'm confused. If this saying was true. Would not the whole world go to hell? Or does believing in the Son of God Jesus will his righteousness be imputed to you and he would save you?
He just restated what God has already told us in His word the Bible. God should not be mocked. We all will reap what we sow. If we sow with view to our fleshly desires we will reap corruption from our fleshly desires. (GALATIANS 6:6-7) God will not shield us from the consequences that result from our poor decision making or wicked conduct. We will likely suffer the consequences. But, like Manasseh, we still can make changes in our conduct to soften the face of YHWH and he will forgive and restore us if possible. (2 CHRONICLES 33:10-13)
@@Ms_T_Perfectly_Imperfect I am blown away as well. What a horrible thing to say. And this guy calls himself a preacher of God's Word. If you ever get out of the mess you created yourself it will only be by trusting God. See Psalm 40
Thank you, thank you for sharing this, Praying for peace to accept his plan. Cause truth be said not all of God's plans are easy. Jonah took off the opposite direction, Moses saw himself as unqualified to speak to Pharaoh plus many more.
Hello ! I've just come searching Jer.29 v:11 because I truly needed clarification. I struggle understanding biblical stories but, I did this one ! I can't wait for the next. Videos /audio speech is very clear so it's so easy to listen to . And you are animated while you speak which holds attention . I appreciate it so much . I truly need a good teacher .
@@philisbramlett6890 do you have a study Bible? That helped me a lot in understanding. Got a esv study Bible where it explains the context of each first at the lower half of the page.
This has been my favorite verse, specifically for how it reminds me that GOD is in control. There may indeed be a season HE uses to stretch me, but HE still loves me. HE still has the best for me. I can trust this process! Stay up. #blessings #peace #love
Yeah he's basically saying your going too be struggling for a while but you need too understand it's all for your discipline and growth and ultimately you will prosper with what the lord has in store for you
Absolutely. In Jeremiah 30:11 as well God says "I will discipline you but only with justice; I will not let you go entirely unpunished." Ppl seem to forget Jeremiah 29:12-13: Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart." Reminds me to focus on God not my current circumstances. I always need help with that. Remembering I may see it as struggle but God is pruning me through my circumstances.
@Nathan - You are so right. Context is very important. And we really have to take the time to study the word to get the context. And accept that sometimes we may not like it but continue to believe that we should still be hopeful.
It's my go to verse especially in times of trouble. I quote this over my life whether good or bad because I know God has a plan! His plan outweighs mines.
Yep Because He does know the plans He has for all of us. And I know it now when I lived in darkness I wanted to die in my darkness Bu the Almighty One who created me didn’t want that for me So he Divinely change my whole life around when I didn’t know he has a plan for my life He knew and His plan was not for me to die in my sins but to come to His Marvelous Amazing Light. So I will continue to use that scripture as if the ALMIGHTY FATHER was personally speaking to me.
@@LivingMyBestAlways He is , don’t listen to religious scholars who don’t know God . These stories are written for our examples so we can understand Gods ways . We are in a new covenant with better promises!

You know guys, sometimes even we already heard the Truth about the Word of God we still to choose to believe in the things that we use to believe in even if its wrong. People are easy to believe in a lie, but really hard to open there eyes that they are wrong. Salute brother allen parr and God blessed in your ministry😇.
@Michael Albertson Totally agree. I think that God may have gotten me out of some tight spots in the past even though I "behaved my way into them." And if in fact he intervened, I'm very thankful he did! Praise be to the God who is merciful and who delivers us from what we actually deserve.
One of my best verse! " And God shall wipe away every tear from their eyes, there shall be no more death, not sorrow nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away." Revelation 21:4✝️ Sure we can use the verse!! As their situation was so is ours in many ways!! The bottom line, this world is not our home. We are simply passing through. Have a Wonderful and Blessed day!!! If you have never called upon Jesus please call upon him today for salvation. He is the only way to heaven, not denomination, not how much we have or don't have. It is not by good works (Although it is important to be loving, and charitable). It is not skin color. It is not who we know here on earth. When we read the following verses it describes the days we are in. Time is going very quickly. The enemy is using so many distractions to keep people from Jesus and to keep believers focusing so much on the hate, fear, destruction, we see daily. As we have seen since the beginning of 2020 we know not what a day will bring. We need to put our trust in Jesus and be in prayer daily for all people. We need to remember too the Lord sees one race the human race, the saved, and the lost, on Jew or Gentile. To hate anyone because of the color of their skin is telling the mighty God, the creator he messed up. Please call upon Jesus today. 2Timothy 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 2Timothy 4:4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. Matthew 24:37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Matthew 24:38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, Matthew 24:39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. John 3:15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. John 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Ephesians 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

@Justin Durham You used that verse to combat what was said about the 70 years, to prove that the return never happened. That verse, however, speaks to the New Covenant, instituted by Jesus Christ.
What great wisdom you express when you said, "You can't believe your way out of something you behaved your way into." Worth the trip right there!! Thank you Allen!
But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. 1st Peter 5:10
When times get tough and we're going through valleys, God doesn't ever forget where He puts us, and He doesn't do it to be cruel, whether it be discipline, to teach a lesson or whatever the case may be, through trials and tough times God enlarges us and our faith is put to the test and our faith grows. If everything was good all the time we wouldn't grow in our faith. He knows, and He's working everything out for the good of those who love Him. That good being transforming us to be more like His son Jesus Christ. His ways are higher, His plans are higher, and His thoughts are higher. So if youre going through a tough time, don't worry, dont lose faith, stand firm in your faith, keep running the race of faith and don't stop praying, God hasn't forgotten about you, He will never leave or forsake you.
I look to this verse more of an assurance of my salvation the future and hope of heaven... I may be going through a tough time now either because of my own hard headedness, or a particular trial, but my future & hope is God's salvation.
This is true. Some people take what is in context and make it a pre text. Christians need to always look at the concept of the verse as it applies to its chapter!
@Justin Durham Thank you for your input but are you saying that God has not choosen Christians? If you are then you did not read the NEW TESTAMENT. We are also chosen by God. He did tell the Israelites that if they do not obey then he will choose a people that are not his own Roman's 9:22-25.There are many more scriptures. Furthermore the Israelites were to live as examples for us to see God's glory. That was an epic fail. But I thank them because now "Grace", God's Grace and mercy is extended to us gentiles.
@Justin Durham Either you don't know or you seem to have forgotten that through Jesus God grafted the gentiles into the nation of Israel [Romans 11]. So that scripture does indeed belong to Christians if you account for it being for the future. Also it matters not at all about whether that message was for the people of Israel or Christians because that doesn't change the facts that God knows the plans he has for us, and that his plans are to prosper us and give us hope for the future, it is us who cause his plans for us not to come to fruition.
100% true G.U my sister, I use to hear a lot of Christians applying this scripture into their lives. They don't read the entire thing to get the full meaning but instead they take what they want to hear.... pretty common nowadays. Right?
This was always one of my favorite scriptures growing up. Because I know what God has planned for me, however, in the midst of me hoping for all these great things I need to lean on Him, trust in Him, abide by Him, obey only Him and only then will I receive the glory from God. I loved this video!! It’s so true, things will be challenging before they get better. Amen ❤️
I have held onto this verse since studying the Bible from 1987, with the understanding that with God " a day is like a thousand years, 1000 yrs like a day". Holding not just to the word, but God's Spirit is contained in the words, so whatever time God takes to fulfill my life I will endure to the end. God Bless Us All, in His time 💜💜🌈🌈🙌🙌🙏🙏
Overall a good message. I want to comment on this, though: "You can't believe yourself out of something you behaved yourself into......." Nice, preacher's statement, but I think it's not a very accurate one, because it's underestimating the grace and mercy of God and misrepresenting the role of faith. Indeed, we cannot believe ourselves out of a paper bag, let alone God's action in our lives. However, even if we bring trouble or negative consequences upon ourselves, God (as our loving heavenly father) will rescue us when we call out to Him. Our faith may be weak, and our sins and their consequences great and serious, but His grace and love will overcome them all!
Yes, that works when it comes to the spirit man. However, not necessarily for the human side of us. We don't always get we what we pray for. Its not name & claim it. Sometimes we get rescued & quickly delivered. Most of the time we have to walk the process out. We, as western culture Christians really have no idea the hardship it truly can be. Christianity is not for the faint of heart.
@@wlknonsonshine Good. I live in Asia and I see people who have very little in the line of material wealth. Believers are not exempt from poverty or suffering, but have a hope of God helping, supporting and supplying their needs. Believers have hope of divine healing, but even if they die, they know they have an awesome, perfect, pain-free home in heaven awaiting them. The prosperity gospel gives people hope- that's good and I think we should have hope and strong faith. But when we limit our hope to this life or the confines of the expectations we set or project, we'll probably be disappointed. I don't think that's good for faith.
Amen Andrew. I totally Agree with you. GOD is loving, forgiving, merciful, and patient. However that doesn’t mean we should take it for granted. Just because GOD handle a situation in the Bible a certain way doesn’t mean that he will handle the same situations/circumstances the exact same way tomorrow, next year, decades, and centuries.
Dear brother in the Lord, I love you man, you bless me to no end! I am a 70 year old white man, whose brain is becoming mush. This is probably the reason for the reference to being a "white" man! I don't want you to change you in any way because you bless me without fail! Just keep in mind that there are people like me that sometimes struggle to keep up. God bless you and keep you. Monty Stewart
The Lord has given me this verse almost 100 times. This verse started showing up during the HARDEST time in my life. If it wasn’t for the Lord, I wouldn’t be here typing this. I experienced a terrible spiritual war that almost killed me.
I see this scripture as... he has plans to prosper people when they are able to actually listen to the LORD again. Yes... sometimes we have to carry our cross too, we may suffer even when we are following him... so it's not all bells and whistles when we are back on the covenant path... however, the Holy Spirit will comfort us in our sorrows so that we will be able to bare our suffering. And if we are truly aligned with God... the things that would usually hurt us don't anymore, because we know what is really important - not worldly things - suffering often comes when we place our minds on wordly things... And we have our minds on the living water. It's all about faith. He's just asking us to have faith in him, and jump all in with him, and make him our foundation. Then when the winds blow, we will not be shaken. But there is a time of suffering after sin, yes.
SOOO many verses are misunderstood and taken out of context! Thank you for addressing real important topics we need to understand with your videos. Blessings from England. Daniel - Christian UA-camr 🌞
Finally!!! Someone actually exegeted this IN CONTEXT!!! We need to actually read the books Bible in full and not cherry-pick to feel good. Thank you so much!!!
Really? Is not Jeremiah 29:11 a fine explanation of Philippians 1:6? Let's remember... I enjoy how you exegete the Bible. One of the many things my parents taught me was to always read the full passage of a particular scripture to fully understand for myself what was being said & I can honestly say, I hadn’t heard it taught that way. Thank you for teaching the Word for what it truly is, not what we want it to be. 🙏🏽
I absolutely agree with you girl. I haven't really heard it this way either, but I knew the church has it wrong. They tell us what we want to hear. Not realizing its actually not what they think. So it didnt come from god.
" You can't believe your way out of something you behaved your way into". Allan, when I heard that I had to run back to my computer and make sure I heard what I heard. YOU PREACHING, MY MAN!!!!! SAY THAT!!!!
That is not in the Bible, however. You can be " extricated" from your own messes, depending on what God decides to do. Not sure what he means by " believe your way out " but I don't always see a correlation between the degree to which a person started the " mess" and the rapidity ( or slowness ) of God's answer. It's not as " black and white " as Allan implies. My opinion!
@@RMPereira777 what he means by "...believe your way out..." is that people are always trusting in God to get them out of their situation they put themselves in, which shouldn't be the case (that's my understanding of things 🤷♂️)
Thank you Brother!!!!! Context context context!!! The new emerging “church” has no desire or knowledge of context. Taking scripture out of context is the emerging world church’s only way. Thank you so much for sharing this. 👍❤️

I recall a preacher who once said that God could teach us in different ways. The one he said he never wanted was where God taught him through suffering. He said that whenever he began to suffer he would pray, "Lord, if there is something You want me to learn, help me learn it fast, so I don't have to suffer long." I think that's a great prayer. But there are other reasons we suffer. Sometimes it's for the sake of the gospel, sometimes it is because of the sins of others, because evil exists in the hearts of man. Jesus promised (and most don't seem to realize it is a promise) that while in this world we WILL have tribulation (trouble). Often we repent and do everything we can to escape a place of suffering, but there is one thing I have learned in over 40 years as a believer, and never heard anyone talk about. God the greatest Psychologist knows the exact best psychological moment to do something for us, as well as the exact best thing to do. And often He is simply waiting for us to come to the place where His actions will be best received and taken into our hearts before moving for us, even as we think we are "waiting on Him". No one ever "waited on God": He is so far beyond us this is an impossibility. The reality is, that He and we are both waiting for the moment when we can be psychologically right to receive what He has for us. The difference being that God knows this, and we usually don't. So, in addition to the great prayer for God to help us learn anything we need to learn fast, I think another great prayer is for us to ask God to help us get where we need to be so He can bless and deliver us, if possible. Because another catch to this is, that God sometimes uses our suffering to bless and change the lives of others who may be watching. So perhaps a third great prayer might be, "Lord, help those You might be using my suffering to bless to learn what they need to know soon, for I know Your word says You do not wilfully afflict the children of men." Just some observations of an old timer in Jesus, hope they may bless someone.
I love this brother. He has wisdom in the exposition of the Bible. It is so refreshing to hear proper interpretation of Scripture. I heard this verse when I was going through tough times. It was uplifting and encouraging because it is what we desire as people. The truth is that this verse is applied to a specific situation and time. Examin all Scripture by, context by context, verse by verse, chapter by chapter, book by book, and Old Testament by New Testament.
Decent exegesis. However, at the end, the conclusion is (even according to the teacher) God has plans to bless and prosper those who are allied with Him. It may not be in the timing of the individual confessing the promise, but it doesn't negate the promise... Even in context
I stumbled onto Allen’s channel only recently but watched enough of them that I was feeling pretty confident, when I found this video on such a chronically misused verse, that his exegesis would be spot on, but after a solid drive toward the endzone, looking at the context, I believe he stopped just short and punted back to the 50 yard line. This verse clearly is a promise by God to uphold His covenant with his chosen people that were currently in exile at the time of Jeremiah, and as Allen pointed out was not necessarily fulfilled for the same generation to which it was spoken. Where I believe this video fell short was in implying that the promised blessing (and reason for hope) also applies to us but may only be delayed. The only real application of this verse to Christians today, especially those of us only “grafted” into the family tree through faith in Jesus Christ (note: those branches included in the old covenant still require faith in Jesus to prevent pruning), is to understand one small facet of the character of God, that He alone chooses when and when not to, as well as how to, prosper us. If anything, Jesus promised we would be blessed in this life by being counted worthy to suffer because of Him. That is not to say that Christians will not, or should not, prosper in this life, and there are verses that can be applied from the old and the new testaments to give us hope for our future (most referring to eternal future) and strength for today, but Jeremiah 29:11 is not one of them.
@@lorinzechiel8465 Exactly. In terms of this world, the only thing Jesus promises for sure is that we will know suffering. One of the best biographies of Martin Luther King Jr.is entitled "Bearing the Cross." We don't believe that Jesus will remove all our burdens, but that he will bear them with us and give us the strength to "endure to the end." I'm always amazed when someone says they lost their faith because of some terrible tragedy that happened in their family. Did they actually believe that tragedies and suffering don't happen to Christians? You can't go around the cross to Jesus, you can only go through the cross.
I believe God Does have plans for us, however we as sinful humans can mess that up. God allows us to mess it up because of free-will. His plan and our plan can be totally different.
Jordan Christman And we know that in all things God works for the good(A) of those who love him, who[a] have been called(B) according to his purpose. ...In all things God works for the good of those who love Him... Even though we mess up, God somehow turns everything into good.
@@danielglatz1643 all things work together because it’s the will of God, not because “everything we do is not his will” (as you stated). God is not reactionary to our “mistakes”, they are foreknown to him, hence he works all things together according to His purpose.
Bottom line is we can still trust God's plan for us because He knows what is best and He loves us. He has saved me from so much pain when I listened to Him!
I just say..."Lord I give this burden to you".....because only our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ knows what plans God has for us. I never take it for granted that when I pray, my problems will be taken care of right now. I believe that God is trying to teach me something or there's a reason why he doesn't answer a prayer right away or sometimes he doesn't answer at all. I learned that unanswered prayers always benefit me and my family in the long run.
I remember a time when I quoted this verse without giving a thought to the people it was originally written for. Then I heard a teaching about Jeremiah being written for the nation of Israel and I felt so much freedom. I had been angry at God for not living up to his promise for me in Jeremiah 29:11. When I was taught that I had wrongly applied God's word my understanding fell into place. I was able to repent, receive forgiveness, and move forward. I know many well-meaning believers who do the same thing that I did and I am so glad that you have made the meaning of this verse very clear so people can rightly divide the word of truth. Thanks.
Priscilla, amen! I did the same thing. Almost had a crisis of faith because I thought God was not doing what He had promised in scripture for me. But, then I realized that what I was praying for was not His will. And, I learned from the experience. We do not tell God what to do.
Dear brother in these days many false prophets have come out in the world and deceiving the innocent believers .you are doing a great job in these last days.
I really love your channel and your perspective. I appreciate your fresh down to earth delivery. Im pretty sure anyone can relate with you. Please don’t change one thing. You are doing great!
Hello, Allen! Thanks for the great videos. I agree with you to a certain extent but God also bail us out and rescue us too. I’ve made some very poor choices in my life that I’m not proud of. God have rescue me out of situations I put myself in. He didn’t have to but he did because the love he have for his children. This is one of my favorite quotes. “When GOD gives you a New Beginning, don’t repeat the old mistakes”.
Too often we spend our time in prayer asking God for blessings and what we “ think we need or want.... I say to you Stop! Try thanking the Lord for his mercy grace and Love he knows what you need, and a lot of the time it’s not in line with what we want.
I know right! I appreciate your videos. It helped me to understand the importance to f context and get deeper into God’s word. Thus helping me better understand what’s in his will and what’s not.
I read this verse last night, and it struck a chord in my heart and its in my head all day and I watched this video tonight and it is really what I need. In my life I have many blessings from God,blessings I feel I don't deserve ... But at the same time the future plans I made for myself and my family have scattered and I have not completely come to terms with them ,I didn't understand why this misfortune comes to me (yet I still feel blessed at the same time). SO THIS VERSE AND THIS VIDEO MAKES ALOT OF SENSE TO ME.. Thank you
I always saw it as meaning God's will above my own. That God knows better than me and his plans will always be better than the ones I come up with. I know correction has to happen. I know that a lesson has to be taught. I was living in disobedience... I cannot be expected to be rewarded in my time. I can however seek after God above everything else.
God gave me this verse 3 times in 2 days. No matter what we desire for ourselves, his desires for us are much better. When we feel like it's the end, God let's us know that he still has plans for us. Not our plans, but his be done.
WOWWW this is amazing. So I was on Instagram today recently and I saw in someone’s bio they quoted “Jeremiah 29:11 “ so it’s really amazing that the first scripture you speak on today was exactly that. Praise God!
I always pray “ Lord let your will be done.” I moved to Phoenix Arizona 3 years ago and was homesick for California. I prayed about going back and told the Lord that if my old boss were to call me and wants me back I would know that that was his will. I received a call wanting me back. Well, guess what? I got sick with Covid. While sick in bed, I distinctly heard in my heart “No”. I knew exactly what that meant. I immediately called and told them I was not going after all. I already had a start date. I thank God He spoke to me and I’m fine with it. He knows exactly what He is doing. Your will be done Lord. ❤️
When i started growing and with a day of fasting and prayer, Jesus spoke to me very serious. He asked me " do you think that you will have it easy?!" and i was like shocked and thinking " Lord is this for me? And i than wondered is it scripture is it truth. And Holy Spirit reminded me of the verse where Jesus said we shall have difficultys in this life but to keep the faith as He already conquered the world.
I wasn't sure what you was about to say. Literally this is my favorite bible scripture in the ENTIRE UNIVERSE.... So I guess I can continue to SCREAM THIS SCRIPTURE at the top of my lungs. Its not that hard to understand. God PLANS are always whats BEST. Yes its not going to always be comfortable but we know that HE has our best interest at HEART!!!!!!
I've been seeing this verse every where and in random situations for a year and a half. I think God is leading me somewhere. Idk I've been struggling with God this whole time. Now I'm seeking him with all my heart ❤
This verse surprised me because I used to think there was no future for me, most of my life has been suffering and running away from the dangers of the place I was born, and then one day after so many years God speaks to me and sends me to a beautiful and peaceful place to start life again... Now I have hope because He found me❤
Thank you, I love how you always bring the Word into context as to the time it was written! This has been one of my favorite scriptures for sometime. I had the application correct, and now I have a more clear vision of what the Prophet Jeremiah was saying throughout the book leading up to the passage. May God continue to bless you and your ministry!
Thank you so much for explaining this scripture, now I see why it’s very important to read the whole context so you can understand what it actually means & not just pick part of scriptures you like .
I can't believe it, I've always loved this scripture, always reminded God while praying, For You know the thoughts and plan that You think toward me. Neither did I know what I was saying nor praying. But now I know. Once again Brother Allen thank you for that spiritual enlightenment 🙏
This verse is one of my favorite, and yesterday its my devotional verse, I’m trying to understand His message to me, and when you preached it, it’s hit me differently. And now I can say that I understand correctly the message that he gave me yesterday. Thank you, this is the first time that I saw your channel.
You can't believe your way out of something you behaved your way into... Thank you for bringing "Balance" to this scripture. We definitely need to share this video with everyone we know.. I know people right now that are believing God to get someone out of jail, that was caught red handed of the crime they committed. Its sad because false prophets ( as mentioned in this video) give false hope... And that's a tragedy 😣
@Far Above Rubies The spiritual man judges all things. You know why? Because it isn't him judging, it's the Holy Spirit through that person to another person 🙏🙏🙏📖📖📖🔥
When I perceive someone to be lesser than me; when i treat someone in an unkind way; when i talk about someone in a negative manner; when i jump to conclusions about a person; when i condemn the person and not the sin; when i fail to see where i have acted as they have; when i fail to see Jesus in all people, I am in error!
I've been watching this video on replay, for the last hour and I will continue to replay it, until I'm sure it's fully understood. This is one of my favorite scriptures, but, this is also the very first time it has been taught so insightfully... God bless you, Brother Allen for your obedience.
when your doctors think you wont live through your cancer ,and you have lost all your money and don't know whats going to happen to your family if you die: its a good verse to remember.
Oh wow!! I truly needed that. I do believe I’m at a point in my life where God is truly chastising me and it’s very difficult however I know it’s my fault. But I will not complain and I will continue to pray.
GRACE ! My friend. I’m sorry but I disagree with the harshness of this video. Yes he had the correct clarification of the verse but people are misinterpreting the truth in what God also says and what he is ! God is love . Yes he disciplines us but God also gives us grace . Plus don’t forget John3:16 !!! Also All sins are forgiven. (Except blasphemy against the holy sprit) Now I’m not saying take Gods grace and forgiveness for granted but understand he loves you a lot ! And he rains on the just and unjust !
Thank you so much for explaining this verse. It is so important to know the background so that we will not live in error. May God bless you as you continue to teach the word of God.
Really good ! Thanks a lot for this “context-context-context”-Bible study!! 👍🏻👍🏻. More and more I apply the context to a Bible verse. And the Bible gets so much more meaning by doing so. Also, while doing this it becomes much easier to spot false prophets and false teachers.
I am an ELCA Lutheran from South Carolina. Today (June 13), we recognized a young man who graduated from high school this past Friday Night. Our pastor gave him a certificate and a present and quoted this Scripture to him. He is going to attend the Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College in Tifton, GA. We all wish you luck in this new endeavor and may you go with God's blessings.
This was helpful video! I'm currently going through some struggles and God used this video to help me understand more that I need to trust in his plans for me even if it can be rough at times, since he cares for us.
I subscribed to you when I was still an atheist. I found you because I was interested in the book of revelation and you had videos on it.
Then I read the entire Bible. I listened to Jordan Peterson and started to wake! Then Kanye released his album and got talking to some people on the internet about Christ.

@Justin Durham I've read all of Jeremiah, and the Bible itself. They did return.
@Justin Durham You used that verse to combat what was said about the 70 years, to prove that the return never happened. That verse, however, speaks to the New Covenant, instituted by Jesus Christ.

Amen Sis! 1 Peter 1:2, 5 also gives comfort! Lord Jesus bless us!
Well said Joshua! That's Tru and my life experience. God bless!

This is true. Some people take what is in context and make it a pre text. Christians need to always look at the concept of the verse as it applies to its chapter!
@Justin Durham ua-cam.com/video/TaMTUd0565c/v-deo.html
@Justin Durham
Thank you for your input but are you saying that God has not choosen Christians? If you are then you did not read the NEW TESTAMENT. We are also chosen by God. He did tell the Israelites that if they do not obey then he will choose a people that are not his own Roman's 9:22-25.There are many more scriptures. Furthermore the Israelites were to live as examples for us to see God's glory. That was an epic fail. But I thank them because now "Grace", God's Grace and mercy is extended to us gentiles.
@Justin Durham
Either you don't know or you seem to have forgotten that through Jesus God grafted the gentiles into the nation of Israel [Romans 11].
Gugulethu Skosana frfr
Yes, Allen went extra biblical on that one!

Praise God. God bless your life. 🥺❤️
Thank God you came out victoriously.

Even in context...
Thank you!!!
One of the best biographies of Martin Luther King Jr.is entitled "Bearing the Cross." We don't believe that Jesus will remove all our burdens, but that he will bear them with us and give us the strength to "endure to the end."
I'm always amazed when someone says they lost their faith because of some terrible tragedy that happened in their family.
Romans 8:28. Everything we do is not His will. But He somehow always gets us back on track. Or makes a new track for us.
We cannot mess his plans up
@@danielglatz1643 say what??? Where on earth is that in Romans 8:28?
Jordan Christman And we know that in all things God works for the good(A) of those who love him, who[a] have been called(B) according to his purpose.
...In all things God works for the good of those who love Him...
Even though we mess up, God somehow turns everything into good.
@@danielglatz1643 all things work together because it’s the will of God, not because “everything we do is not his will” (as you stated). God is not reactionary to our “mistakes”, they are foreknown to him, hence he works all things together according to His purpose.
You can’t believe your way out of something you behaved yourself into. This will preach sir.
Bottom line is we can still trust God's plan for us because He knows what is best and He loves us. He has saved me from so much pain when I listened to Him!
😅😅😅😅😅😮 oo pp😅😅😅😅😅😅
I like this guy. He put preachers, the bible and christianity under microscope. Love this.
Yes it’s consistent with God’s character. His will be done.💕
Jeremiah 29:11 Daniel 3:25
As Christians we must ask GOD to help us preserve through our trials and tribulations
Dear brother in these days many false prophets have come out in the world and deceiving the innocent believers .you are doing a great job in these last days.
This analysis is in perfect timing given what’s going on today in this country. I have hope that there are better days ahead!
Thank you for doing the Lord's work! This message blessed me! We need more of the Bible and Truth and less promises to make us feel better.
I really love your channel and your perspective. I appreciate your fresh down to earth delivery. Im pretty sure anyone can relate with you. Please don’t change one thing. You are doing great!
I so appreciate you taking time to share that. That was very kind.
THE BEAT by Allen Parr oh yeah my brother! Of course!!!! I definitely wanted to tell you that you are making a difference, in Jesus’ name 🙌🏼💕
This is SO RELEVANT to this season in our nation!! He sees the end from the beginning... All we can do is trust Him 🙏
IF you are MY DISCIPLES... you shall know the truth... and THE TRUTH SHALL SET YOU FREE.
Thank you for hard hitting truth.
This one is for me!!Thank you for this Pastor! God bless you.
Thank you Allen Parr! This message needs to be shouted from the rooftops...so widely misquoted and misunderstood indeed. Keep up the GREAT work!
🙏🏽❤️
👏👏👏👏👏
Love this guy! Brother Allen has a real gift when it comes to teaching!
It's a Blessing to listen to you Allen Parr. May you be blessed abundantly.

Thank you so much for this teaching. It’s so refreshing to hear the truth of God’s word being preached and not twisted or diluted.
I praise JESUS that HE uses you to Bless us with your GIFT of explanation. Love from San Antonio TX. Filipino for CHRIST!! Philippians 4:13
I know the plan God has for us! Eternal life! Praise God!
Thank you
Honeyyyy, nobodyyy is ready for this video, thank you for this interpretation!!!
Thank you for this. “In all your getting, get understanding “
Hellow brother Allen, your vidoes always heal my soul and help me to find my self in Lord Jesus, pls pray for me i have lot of challenges in the Way.
@Justin Durham I'm seeing this comment of yours everywhere on this video. Are you a troll?
Finally! someone mention this text, im tired hearing this in a wrong context. God bless. From Philippines.
At last! Context and real meaning for an often abused verse. Thank you, Allen, for doing the homework and getting Jeremiah 29:11 right!
Thank you soo much for making biblical videos. You’ve helped me get closer to God✝️❤️
Now I have hope because He found me❤
Hey Alan. Thank you for the video..! God bless you
Thank you, I love how you always bring the Word into context as to the time it was written!
Please do a video on Mathew 7: 1-2 if you have not already because people mistake opinion for judgement.
@Justin Durham ua-cam.com/video/TaMTUd0565c/v-deo.html
Eamonn Murphy ❤️❤️❤️
So so true. That is a great study for us today.
This was EXCELLENT. Christians everywhere need to hear this. Thank you for this ! Your videos are always very good.
I’ve been watching these videos and give me such peace and I thank God for all my blessings.
I've been watching this video on replay, for the last hour and I will continue to replay it, until I'm sure it's fully understood. This is one of my favorite scriptures, but, this is also the very first time it has been taught so insightfully... God bless you, Brother Allen for your obedience.
"Nail on the head" I thank the LORD for Gifting you as a teacher....
when your doctors think you wont live through your cancer ,and you have lost all your money and don't know whats going to happen to your family if you die: its a good verse to remember.
Oh wow!! I truly needed that. I do believe I’m at a point in my life where God is truly chastising me and it’s very difficult however I know it’s my fault. But I will not complain and I will continue to pray.
Justin Durham What do you believe? Do you keep the whole law all the time? Do you believe in Christ at all? Do you believe in grace?
GRACE !
I am very pleased by your word from God. You have a connection and he opens your wisdom abundantly for you to see the truth. Thanks.
What a blessing to hear Jer 29:11 taught in its proper context. Thank you Pastor Allen!
I really love how you convey the Bible to us Allen!! God bless and let's look forward to Jesus' return!
The LORD'S word is true. Your pastor gave him a good blessing.
This was helpful video! I'm currently going through some struggles and God used this video to help me understand more that I need to trust in his plans for me even if it can be rough at times, since he cares for us.
