    CORONAVIRUS COVID 19 VACCINE:
The coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccine is safe and effective. It gives you the best protection against coronavirus.
The NHS is currently offering the COVID-19 vaccine to people most at risk from coronavirus. For the most up to date list please visit the NHS link above.
The NHS will let you know when it's your turn to have the vaccine. It's important not to contact the NHS for a vaccination before then.
CORONAVIRUS COVID 19 VACCINE SIDE EFFECTS:
Most side effects of the COVID-19 vaccine are mild and should not last longer than a week, such as:
    • A sore arm where the needle went in
    • Feeling tired
    • A headache
    • Feeling achy
    • Feeling or being sick
You can take painkillers, such as paracetamol, if you need to.
If you have a high temperature you may have coronavirus or another infection. Please remember you cannot get COVID 19 from the COVID 19 vaccine however you may have caught COVID 19 prior or after your vaccine date.
    CORONAVIRUS COVID 19 SYMPTOMS:
If you have any of the main symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19), get a test as soon as possible. Stay at home until you get the result.
The main symptoms of coronavirus are:
    • A high temperature - this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature)
    • A new, continuous cough - this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual)
    • A loss or change to your sense of smell or taste - this means you've noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal
Most people with coronavirus have at least 1 of these symptoms. If your symptoms get worse or you are worried, call 111
    ALLERGIC REACTIONS:
Tell healthcare staff before you are vaccinated if you've ever had a serious allergic reaction (anaphylaxis - symptoms on video).
You should not have the vaccine if you've ever had a serious allergic reaction to:
    • A previous vaccine
    • An anaphylactic reaction to any of the ingredients in the COVID 19 vaccine. Please find ingredients list: www.gov.uk/government/publica...
    • A previous dose of the same COVID-19 vaccine
    • Some medicines, household products or cosmetics
    YELLOW CARD REPORTING:
As mentioned in the video here is the link to report any side effects: coronavirus-yellowcard.mhra.g...

However when I took my first dose in March I had small side effects like headaches, chills and weak body but I took a paracomol within 2hrs time I was good back to normal. I'm accustom of doing healthy health practices. I have no problem with the vaccine.

I agree on the description of the side effects, mild temperature and uncomfortable joints 8 to 20 hrs after jab (evening and overnight), sore arm for about 4 days, nothing paracetamol and a good fluid intake didn’t see off. I’m a massive wuss but I’ll happily risk these exact effects again when round two comes around. I am female, in my early 40s and in reasonable health. Offered jab as I’m a carer.
Joint pain was the sort of general discomfort you get after a long journey cramped up in a bad seat.

It isn't preferable at this stage, recommendations are that you have the same because you could have a a reaction to one of the others whereas you know the AZ is fine for you because you've already had it once. Although it wouldn't be catastrophic if you did have another, you just run the risk of reacting badly to the other ingredients in one of the different vaccines.
