Town of Salem 2 has different factions in it.
The Coven: The Dreamweaver, Enchanter, Illusionist, Medusa, Conjuror, Jinx, Ritualist, Coven Leader, Hex Master, Witch, Necromancer, Poisoner, Potion Master, Voodoo Master and Wildling
The Town: Coroner, Investigator, Lookout, Psychic, Seer, Sheriff, Spy, Tracker, Deputy, Trickster, Veteran, Vigilante, Jailor, Mayor, Monarch, Prosecutor, Bodyguard, Cleric, Crusader, Trapper, Admirer and Amnesiac
The Neutral Apocalypse: Baker, Famine, Berserker, War, Plaguebearer, Pestilence, Soul Collector and Death
Neutral Evil: Executioner, Jester, Doomsayer, Pirate
Neutral Killing: Arsonist, Serial Killer, Shroud and Werewolf
I tried a very similar strategy with jester the other day by claiming sheriff and hard pushing people. Both of the people I pushed were coven and the veteran became convinced I was confirmed and defended me causing me to lose the game when town won.
Jester TI is the best kind of TI.
Either you are too active and get confirmed accidentally so lose, or you are too passive and lose. Or you win because of skill or you win because of vfa or town investigatives.
@@kitsicles111 it was even better in tos1 if you got cl'd n2 cus then coven knows you're full of shit, but town wholeheartedly believes your bullshit. Chaos is as chaos does.
Watching the second game gave me the idea of using voodoo on someone and then enchanting them as admirer the next night. Have their will say toxic relationship and it could get almost anyone insta lynched.
I actually think Pipe should've done something similar, to increase his odds of surviving. He could've Altered the already-silenced Admirer's will to show that 8 rejected them instead of 15 (and that, on top of the Coven deathnote, would've outed 8 as Evil). Not sure if this would've helped long-term, considering there were 3 NAs + Pirate by the end, but could've possibly helped.
14 in the second game was confirmed evil on day 2. They claimed spy and said that someone was shrouded, but the new Shroud buff let's the Shroud attack the person they shroud if the person they shrouded doesn't visit. They claimed the Deputy was shrouded night 1, but if that were true, then they would have been attacked, but they weren't because they also would have seen them get protected. They were most likely Shroud as they knew one existed.

@@kingkongcreeper I don't think it was Before update, Pipe generally doesn't have that long of a backlog, and Shroud did end up killing Ritualist. From how they played, and their own Deathnote, it seems highly likely this Shroud was always using their Shroud ability on their targets, and when he used it on Rit, since Rit's Blood Ritual is an Astral Attack, they ended up attacking the Rit directly instead (due to the Update Buff)
I once had a jester game where I faked claimed seer, put a deputy and another townie as evils, deputy shot the townie, I instantly got lynched. No one suspected a thing.
What Dep failed to take into account was that he chose to shoot Conjurer (instead of Arso) who was probably going to be lynched, and because of that, a Jester was lynched instead, so his shot didn't really help all that much anyways. Coulda used it on the Arso or the WW instead of the obvious evil about to be lynched. But gg to WW since it seems like they were forming bonds in the whispers and that's far more important to remaining players than what those players said to the chat at large.

Bro, I had a game earlier as Trickster where I was Jailed N1, Pirated N2, Attacked by a Vigi and Saved by a BG N3 and then Shot by a Deputy D4.

Always. punish. day one. evil claims. that is why prosecutor and deputy exist.
Not always waranted, first you could end up Pros-ing a Jester, secondly you could end up killing a Vet (that baits in a bad way) or some sort of Tpow with some long-plan play to claim an Evil role but pretend to work with town, so that other evils steer away from them (and yea, I've had an example of exactly that pretty recently, too)
4 Coven, 3 NA, Arso, Shroud, and Pirate?? 5 Town never stood a chance

I bet the reason the game 2 deputy shot 7, was because claiming amne tracker D2 is claiming Ti with no information, unprompted, where as a real amne tracker would more likely stay hidden for a day. (like the real amne tracker ended up doing)
Still dumb play, the Amne Tracker can claim D2 so that them only starting to post D3 is not sus. At best, they could claim Amne TI, to keep it obscure (as I've seen in my lobbies), but it's still not a solid enough reason to Shoot, unless you really feel like waiting at least 10 more seconds into the Day is too much for your Trigger-finger.
Haven’t watched the vid quite yet but with yet another mention of VFA and the lower numbers I really do question why it’s never ”VFA, reverse order” or something. It’d be pretty decent with catching any evils down there off guard at least a couple times.
I actually pulled this off as an evil, I was the one to excitedly suggest: "VFA, from the Bottom. EVILS WON'T EXPECT IT". I, of course, and most my Coven, were near the top.
Be careful what you wish for
The tricky thing is who gets to decide whether it starts from the top or bottom? More likely than not anybody suggesting it is doing so to protect their evil faction, and if they are not then they are shaking the boat for no good reason, because its not like town knows that 10-15 are evil. If the established standard is to start from one side every time, then RNG is the only one decides who has to claim first based off who was assigned what number, and nobody can accuse RNG of trying to protect coven lol

They should make jester visit just so you can appear in the tracker results and appear sus, but that would make you susceptible to the trapper or crusader (roles like that)
One of my favorite versions of jester is from throne of lies where you have a day ability to make people talk

I feel like it's pretty balanced, they do have more ways to be Sussed out, but at the same time, a Deputy/Conj could end up snipping them instead.
I knew instantly 14 was shroud bcuz the patch made it so if the shroud goes on a target and they don't visit they attack the target and there was no shroud kill and no immune message so odds are shroud

The Deputy in game 2 made a bad play and got lucky. There was no hard read, only a lucky guess.
So when an amne remembers a role, does it not tell town that an amne remembered a role anymore? Because 7 claimed amne tracker, yet there was no "an amne has remembered tracker" message.

In one game (All Any) it was like D2 and Conjurer killed someone and then the Deputy shot someone and then Deputy died to hangman and then SECOND DEPUTY shot a coven member and then the THIRD DEPUTY shot ME and I was Sheriff and Third Deputy died to Hangman and in dead chat the third dep said that he had to join in lmao

Pipe, do you think deputy should have more than one bullet?
Cause I think it makes him quite an irrelevant role, as you confirm yourself one day by shooting someone and then your most likely dead the next. Or if you're in a stalemate scenario like this one, would be beneficial? Since the vigilante's seem to be more relevant/useful than deputy.
Do you want Multiple Gamethrows from each Dumb Deputy you see?
But really, it's already pretty busted to be able to insta-kill during day, fairly certain there's no need to buff Deputy at all

@@hayley__939 You probably didn't play ToS 2 that much yet. Mayor can't hold a candle to Deps, in simple terms of inevitability. Mayor has a stronger vote, while a Dep is simply a one-hit kill, also Dep's not unique either, whereas Mayors are.
Would be beyond busted even to give Deps 2 bullets, as, again, they are not even unique. At best, BMG could try adding another, smaller, function to then when they are out of bullet, to stop them from being a confirmed Potato for the rest of their (soon to be cut short) lives, similar to how they added the Sniff ability to Werewolves.
@@mtacrdipo7870 i mean whatever. But I've played quite a lot to witness mayor's throw out town voluntarily countless of times. Heck a mayor threw out a confirmed deputy at one point.
It really wouldnt be beyond stupid, just give the deputy two bullets, i mean pros can do it twice, vigi can shoot 3 times. Just give the deputy two bullets, if he shoots a townie, hes dead. If he shoots a evil well great. There's no gamethrowing for a deputy because if he shoots a townie he is punished.
A mayor on the other hand, hangs a townie, they can continue to gamethrow since the coven won't kill them.
