Awesome job, man! I’m seeing a lot of new techniques in your videos that I haven’t seen really anyone else do on here, which really peaks my interest. Especially the table saw jigs in this one.
If you don’t mind my asking, why did you decide to domino the legs to the plywood underneath instead of the slab itself?

Hey, thanks I appreciate it. I'm glad you are getting some value out of my videos. As for the legs... Unfortunately I lost some footage along the way. But what I did was after leveling the top side of the slab, I realized I was not going to have enough thickness left if I also flattened the underside completely. So, because the underside isn't completely flat, I routed out a circle the size of the plywood, on the under side, that is perfectly parallel with the topside. So after attaching the plywood the table sits perfectly level. This was my solution to the problem at hand. Had the slab been thicker I would have flattened both sides and could have dominoed to the slab. Hope this makes sense👍

Disappointed in the lack of shots of your foot.
Well done as always, my man. A pickier man than I might comment on you not choosing rift-sawn pieces for the legs so that all four sides of each one are more cohesive, but just tell that guy to shut his face hole.

Haha ya no feet. You are right on using rift sawn. I kind of thought the material would kind of tie into the crazy grain of the top, but that aspect didn't quite play out like I had pictured in my head. Overall, I'm happy with it's simple design. Thanks for watching👍
