I was very young when I last went on this tram between 1960-63! my family used to get off at mc donald rd. dad took old standard 8 home cine films but not going up the tram. happy times also at happy valley!!!
@aifusatiluj For Memory...Either walk down to the Star Ferry and take the ferry across to Central and follow the street signs, or Catch the MTR to Central, use Exit J2 and follow the signs to Garden Road where you will find the Peak Tram Lower Terminus. The MTR would be actually closer to the Peak Tram Terminus
hmm you could have panned the camera around - on the climb you can see over hong kong. Music gives nice 'immersion' but eventually becomes repetitive and it would be nice to hear the tram climb without the music so you feel more like you're there. Apart from those criticisms i liked it.
@VKWAGONMAN Thank you. We were in Hong Kong early Dec. We took the MTR exit J2. The weather was lovely and the walk to the Peak Tram Station was lovely :)
The people there can sometimes be rude, but it's a city for business and tourism. So they will treat you pretty well. I do speak both languages. Cantonese and English.
That's nice music you have in the background - puts you in the mood to ride the Peak Tram! We just got back from Hong Kong and had a great time.
Oh this brings back some memories I went there in June 1985 best three weeks off school ever, good times
Love it,just came back from Hong Kong...Amazing place..
I have not been to Japan, so I cannot really compare. Hong Kong is a clean city all except the air. It can get really bad.

Yes, the good ole days where there was no pollution and you could see across the other side so clearly. You could also breathe in the clean air.
