@@Clipzilla42 indeed. It's the most basic, lowest hanging fruit kind of sarcasm I could think of. I had been led to believe that she's a comedian. I was expecting Monty Python or Yes Minister, or even Benny Hill. She's so much more bland and boring I'd have more fun looking at beige paint.

@@chse13I’m American, so I could be wrong, but he probably meant most Brits don’t sound so painfully posh in comparison. To be fair, she is an actress and has probably been trained to speak this way.
@@xoxoFRHxoxo Definitely was not trained to talk that way lol, people do talk like that in the UK, but like the initial comment states, percentage of someone actually talking like that is very low in population comparison. In the UK there are around 40 different accents although being a small country (minus the high population despite small land mass)
I’d guess quite a few Americans think that Brits all do sound like that because they don’t distinguish anything between Cockney and the Queen unless they’re an American who spends a lot of time watching British TV and movies.

They have Hula Hoops, Wetherspoons and Jaffa Cakes outside of those places.

that's the first time I have ever heard a brit say 'the 4 o'clock cup of tea' ... we don't have a specific time for tea in England we just drink tea all day. it's france that they have the 4 o'clock thing.

🦊 Loved listening to her describe things. Now I'm off to my local Irish Grocery THE BUTCHER BLOCK in Sunnyside, Queens NY to pick up some Yorkshire Tea Gold, Jaffa Cakes, Scampi Crisps, Hula Hoops, and Freddos.

You definitely should, it’s my favourite biscuit! You should also learn about the big debate of wether it’s a biscuit or a cake because there’s a massive feud between us brits on that topic😅
HUGELY overrated, same as Jammy Dodgers, nothing confirms the reputation of British tastebuds more than how highly my fellow Brits rate those 😂. If you ever come here just try all the different Fox’s biscuits, they are the best 👍
@@catalinaa766 I saw some of that when I Googled 'em up! Apparently someone (the manufacturer, I think?) made a giant Jaffa Cake to prove they're cakes 😆 I don't think I'd care which camp they're in. Cake and biscuits ("cookies" here) are my two favorite foods, and they look delicious : )
