It must have once been under British control as they drive on the left side of the road. It reminded me of my sister who lived in Manhatten and when she came home to visit us in Australia she often went to the right front door (passenger door in the USA but driver's door in Australia) - what was funny was that she didn't know how to drive. Also, the scooter drivers reminded me of the Vespas drivers in Milan & Rome - they just drove regardless of what was happening around them. The Maldives has become a very popular holiday destination - I can see why. Thank you for sharing.

I guess it was Dennis. The thing that struck me most was how compact it was. It must have been a real pain to go to Male City before the China Friendship Bridge was built
