After India gained independence in 1947, Ghaziabad continued to evolve as an industrial and manufacturing center, attracting businesses and migrants.
In 1976, Ghaziabad was officially declared a district in the state of Uttar Pradesh. Over the years, it has experienced rapid urbanization and population growth. The city has expanded its infrastructure and witnessed developments in various sectors, including education, healthcare, and technology. Today, Ghaziabad stands as a bustling satellite city of Delhi, playing a crucial role in the economic and cultural landscape of the National Capital Region.
