The Venetian explorer also explored the coastal areas of India, including regions around the Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal. His observations included the bustling ports, bustling markets, and the advanced maritime activities of the Indian people. Polo's vivid descriptions of India provided Europeans with valuable insights into the subcontinent's wealth and stimulated further interest in trade and exploration between Europe and the East.

Very brief but informative! You missed two important points: He wrote that people in China are so smart that they can burn rocks! He was ridiculed for this, but he was referring to coke (nobody outside China knew about it)that was used for forging! Also, scholars still express doubt about his journey as he didn’t mention Great Wall of China…
