Took from the kickstarter FAQ, "Above snakes" is an Old Western saying meaning being above ground or being alive. Since Above Snakes is a survival game, I found this as a name very fitting (and I like how unusual it is).

The Harvesting technique that they're using seems VERY reminiscent to Len's Island. That would mean that you harvest Trees, bushes, maybe (or maybe not) flowers, stone, etc. Additionally, especially once you get ranged weapons, you could hunt deer or rabbits and then cook them...

As a Native American nothing offensive here. A little cartooney for me, but looks like fun and that's what gaming's all about. I'd probably play it. As for Snakes...they don't bother me, but I wouldn't own one. Not into having wild creatures as pets. I think this is a nice edition to your playlists...Cheers!
