I've two moisturizers from simple that I purchased from nykaa. Both of them are light moisturizers but one with the spf & another one without spf. The protecting light moisturizer matches with your description replenishing rich moisturizer, in terms of the cap bottle & the consistency. My views upon usage: I like light protecting moisturizer with spf, it is so good♡ I even like this light moisturizer without spf BUT I feel light tingling sensation for some time when I apply it which goes away by the time.

Also it's better for pregnant women to avoid chemical sunscreen filters. Other people can use this moisturizer at day time infact it would be better as it has sun protective barriers. It comes down to our preference at the end of the day .
Hi In your community post you say you’re not comfortable about ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate but why ? . It’s an absolutely safe and good ingredient. I know that it feels weird that simple has added it in a moisturiser but it’s because it has many other uses such as keeping the formulation fresh and increasing penetration of other ingredients . The FDA’s stance on this ingredient is frankly outdated . They also don’t approve newer , better sunscreen ingredients. The reason why it’s not written octinoxate is because when it is used as a preservative it’s called ethylhexyl methoxycinnamte .And you can see that it’s followed by bht which can be used up to 0.1% . So the concentration of this is likely low , which is why it’s not listed as sunscreen.We don’t want another Paraben situation. I have sent other mails , please check them out if you have the time . We should always remember that skincare products varies person to person. Same product can suit me well but not you. And no one knows which can react to their skin. Exactly dude😞. Skincare is something we should choose wisely not on somebodys recommendation. evey skin is different. I wasted my 3000 rs on their recommendation and face horrible break out. I would never ever listen to them. It will be better to use derma prescribed products.

I knew it had ethyl hexylmethoxycinnamate so i avoided it but i use the simple light moisturizer everyday Glad u found it out sonner than later I researched it because the new vaseline ice cream lotion(light blue in colour) have this ingredient in the top of the list and i also commented in nykaa so people get aware.

As for why people get break outs while using the moisturiser...7/10 chances of it being the chemical filter....chemical filters are not bad but Octinoxate is notorious for causing acne and irritation. It is such a shame they randomly included it.😑 Ami chai people don’t get scared and stop using chemical sunscreens. Because in India chemical sunscreens are most widely available and cheaper. So in my personal and also professional opinion people can opt for chemical sunscreens until research proves beyond doubt that it is harmful. Right now there is no conclusive evidence so anyone who has chemical sunscreens can continue to use them. I will for my part continue using the ones I have.

You can try Biore Clear Sunscreen.Some instagram stores in India do sell it.James Welsh swears by it since it doesn't leave a white cast and leaves the skin feeling fresh and dewy.

Okay skin care is definitely subjective. I tried simple hydrating light moisturiser for two weeks . Along with giving a burning sensation to my face it also broke me out really bad. My cheeks are filled with small hard ingrown pimples now. I don’t blame anyone but my judgement. If anyone wants to try it out do a patch test first.

@@sapnagupta6394 actually the simple light moisturiser is very good as per the ingredient list ( I dunno y ppl are getting breakouts because of it , it might be because of other products too which they might be having in their skincare).. But personally I'm impressed by the ingredient list of simple light hydrating moisturizer especially because of Panthenol which is excellent for skin barrier repair (which is the most important). The Neutrogena moisturiser (which doesn't have spf in it and the one with pink label and it is available in Nykaa) is also good. But the Neutrogena one doesn't have much moisturizing ingredients but it'll do a good job. That was a very long comment. Sorry bout that 😅

I've tried Simple's Refreshing Facial Wash and their Hydrating Light Moisturizer. Both contain a carcinogenic ingredient, Tocopheryl Acetate. That's not at all right and I'm neither going to ever buy Simple products nor am I going to recommend them to anyone. I urge you all to research the ingredients list of every skincare/haircare product you plan to buy before coming to watch such reviews. It's better do your own homework first and then get a second opinion. ✌🏼

Didi, i read that physical sunscreens definitely require double cleansing in order to be removed. I know that u use bioderma for that. But bioderma is very expensive. May b garnier or simple micellar water can b opted, but i want to reduce cotton wastage, so i started looking into cleansing oils, a lot of korean cleansing oils are available but most of them do not suit oily acne prone skin and they r costly too. I just saw earth rhythm cleansing balms.. I want to hear your opinion about them if possible..

You should try the sebamed face gel. I know the shampoo and face wash didn't work for you but this moisturiser has a pretty good ingredients list. Very simple straightforward ingredients. Give it a go please. And it's pretty affordable too!! P. S. : love the way you say bye bye! It's super cute😂♥️

First time kono shampoo without dry kore clean koreche. For hairfall , ekbar thyroid, haemoglobin, pcod aar biotin deficiency check koriye nai. Aamar hairfall hoto onek, biotin plus doctor prescribed korlo. Ekhon giye hair fall ektu komeche.

As for why people get break outs while using the moisturiser...7/10 chances of it being the chemical filter....chemical filters are not bad but Octinoxate is notorious for causing acne and irritation. It is such a shame they randomly included it.😑 Ami chai people don’t get scared and stop using chemical sunscreens. Because in India chemical sunscreens are most widely available and cheaper. So in my personal and also professional opinion people can opt for chemical sunscreens until research proves beyond doubt that it is harmful. Right now there is no conclusive evidence so anyone who has chemical sunscreens can continue to use them. I will for my part continue using the ones I have.
Let me know your thoughts for the simple protecting light moisturizer.

I brought it's light moisturiser after going through everything since I have extremely sensitive and dry to combination skin. but the moment I applied it, it started burning so bad!!

Simple moisturizer has fungal acne trigger ingredients. May be that's why it is not suitable for some people.

Sodium benzoate is a good preservative and does not cause any harm to skin and this ingredients used as preservatives in vanicream also which is recommend as a perfect skincare

They use essential oils in their formulation. I once requested them to formulate products without essential oils. Let's see what happens.

Okay skin care is definitely subjective. I tried simple hydrating light moisturiser for two weeks . Along with giving a burning sensation to my face it also broke me out really bad. My cheeks are filled with small hard ingrown pimples now. I don’t blame anyone but my judgement. If anyone wants to try it out do a patch test first.

@@sapnagupta6394 actually the simple light moisturiser is very good as per the ingredient list ( I dunno y ppl are getting breakouts because of it , it might be because of other products too which they might be having in their skincare).. But personally I'm impressed by the ingredient list of simple light hydrating moisturizer especially because of Panthenol which is excellent for skin barrier repair (which is the most important). The Neutrogena moisturiser (which doesn't have spf in it and the one with pink label and it is available in Nykaa) is also good. But the Neutrogena one doesn't have much moisturizing ingredients but it'll do a good job. That was a very long comment. Sorry bout that 😅

I've tried Simple's Refreshing Facial Wash and their Hydrating Light Moisturizer. Both contain a carcinogenic ingredient, Tocopheryl Acetate. That's not at all right and I'm neither going to ever buy Simple products nor am I going to recommend them to anyone. I urge you all to research the ingredients list of every skincare/haircare product you plan to buy before coming to watch such reviews. It's better do your own homework first and then get a second opinion. ✌🏼

Didi, i read that physical sunscreens definitely require double cleansing in order to be removed. I know that u use bioderma for that. But bioderma is very expensive. May b garnier or simple micellar water can b opted, but i want to reduce cotton wastage, so i started looking into cleansing oils, a lot of korean cleansing oils are available but most of them do not suit oily acne prone skin and they r costly too. I just saw earth rhythm cleansing balms.. I want to hear your opinion about them if possible..

You should try the sebamed face gel. I know the shampoo and face wash didn't work for you but this moisturiser has a pretty good ingredients list. Very simple straightforward ingredients. Give it a go please. And it's pretty affordable too!!

Also, you should once put in the ingredients list on incidecoder or skincarisma because they do mention all this in brief the uv filter thing and whatever the function of every ingredient is and then you can continue with your own research about the ingredients.
