Most people relate to utes, wagons and 4 doors cause it’s what they grew up with and what ever coupes the Aussies had in the past are fetching crazy money, plus another reason is Aussies love being different

Holden is freaking DEAD. Gone and never to be seen again after GM promised the Aus gov that if they granted them over 1b$, they would promise to keep making them here until 2025. Our gov paid up, GM said thanks suckers, took the cash back to Detroit and then promptly wound up the whole operation.

God I had no idea but not surprised to be honest in my opinion here in the states Gm has fallen off on anything cool or interesting aside from their trucks the only " cool" car is the Camaro which everyone and their mother own one ,the Corvette is just unattainable and boring now , they've jumped on the economic suv bandwagon now but that's my opinion so someone else may think different I'm more leaning towards German and Japanese cars as far as something different

If you own a Holden here in Aus and need genuine parts or manufacture support of some kind then good luck to you. You're on your own. I had to order 2 injector wiring harnesses for a mate's SV6 (LLT Direct injection) from the States. Fukn bullshit. I believe there is still the odd dealership out there hanging on for grim death.
A nonprepped drag strip will always be slipperier than non prepped streets… we dont have the luxury of concrete roads in Australia buddy…. Suck it up or go home. As we are seeing it sorts the REAL drivers out from the clowns

US cars have turned down there cars so much to make it more competitive, last nite it was 8-1 and only loss for US was swantstorm breaking taking off. They even said in video that they been giving Australian back tire , the hit , etc to make it more competitive. Kye and few of them last event after first round turned car down. Can’t Waite to see show to see lol

The sport is very popular over here and growing at a great rate atm with the popularity of radial racing and drag and drives although we are limited in that as our streetcars are policed a bit harder over here, no prep will only get bigger with more events like this
I think it’s very cool and shows the greatness of the Australia people, that they are flying the American flag.
