Great playing. I met Rik Emmett in my hometown in Canada, he’s a super nice guy. He was doing a guitar clinic in the late ‘80’s and he played many riffs from Triumph, but one song that is plastered in my head, is “Midsummers Daydream”, he played it right in front of me, it was awesome. Rock on
Dear Eddie, it's simply wonderful! You transported all emotions hidden in this classical rock song... I liked this trio very much! I even learn to play the electric guitar as well! What a great tune! My God, my guitar hero has arrived! Versatile guitar player, fantastic vocalist, great songwriter and most importantly, appears to be a kind human. My way to follow from tenderness to passion... My greatest rock music influence who even forced me to pick up my own electric guitar to resonate with him! How I want to learn your hooks, riffs and chords! Your unforgettable double neck guitar brings only good memories:... Thanks a lot, my dear Rik! You are amazing! Warm regards from Russia!
@@brentcowan5792 No, I am not. I'm a real music lover from Russia who loves TRIUMPH and Rik Emmett the most, because I learn to play my own electric guitar. I also write my own poems.
Music to my ears! From you expressions, I can totally see that you are feeling the great guitar riffs of the legendary Rik Emmett (not to mention his heavens-high vocals). Nice playing, and thanks for the cool cover! 👍
Very, very nice mate! I too like Triumph and think Rik Emmett is VASTLY underrated. This song too is one of my favorites off Thunder Seven, in addition to 'SpellBound.' Love his/the band's other songs too, 'Fight the Good Fight,' notably. Thank you for this cover. I appreciated how much you visibly enjoyed doing this--going to check out your Whitesnake stuff too. Thank you
Very cool Eddie! My aunt Cora was Triumph's artist. And Rik played my friend Lou's farewell bash in Scarborough too (he was sick with C) Anyway, I'm local in Alliston, we should jam! ✌️😎
Good stuff! Great cover of an awesome song!
