3:59 "I regret nothing"... When he said that, I couldn't hold my tears. Thanks, Jesse!!! And, yep. I am a Christian, too!!!

I have frequent depression and have made 2 attempts to kill myself. 1st I tried cutting my wrists but only made very small cuts in both wrists and my legs.I'm not a cutter, i just sat there and cried and wanted to feel something so i started to cut myself and even called myself pathetic for not being able to go through with it. Then the 2nd time i tried hanging myself in the basement. I probably wouldn't have been here if a friend didn't stop me. People have to understand tho that its the worst feeling in the world wanting to die because you have no hope for yourself. im so happy im here and i try everyday to appreciate my life and those around me. Life sucks but theres always hope for a better tomorrow.

Life outside of this situation. That’s the key. I love you Jesse.

I agree with his spiritual views on god. . And it's inspiring to see someone in the metal industry to put down fear and ego and to be honest to us and himself. This helps me A LOT.

Every time I watch some of these 'You Rock' videos, I start thinking "yeah, yeah, yeah..." after a couple of minutes. Only this one with Jesse and the one with Jonathan Davis really made some difference to me. You can see that both of those guys talk about something real, heavy, dark, but beatable! No 'rockstar' bullshit, no hyperego, no PR, no lies, and all that told in a manner that everyone can understand and relate to it. Great guys, both of them.

+Adrian G I agree, but if someone can find therapy in any other kind of music then more power to them.

I first started my battle with depression when I was 13 and it was like hell... Self harm, suicidal thoughts, no friends to help support me... Then things got better; I stopped self harming and the thoughts went away for a while... Then my health deteriorated and a couple of very traumatic incidents happened this year and I find myself in that position again... I don't self harm but the temptation is so great that I fear that I shall succumb to the darkness again... But what keeps me going, gives me hope is the music that bands like killswitch make: music truly is my saviour...

Thank you. Every day, every single day, I am happy that I never gave in to these thoughts when I was younger and going through abuse that now would make headlines in every newspaper in the country. It was music that saved me...three songs in particular. Never opt out with a permanent solution to temporary problems. Thank you!

Jesse Leach is the best, He is honest and he opens up with honest feelings.
I have got more respect for him than I ever had and I appreciate that this subject is tackled because you lose friends and people you're close to.
I am just a man but that doesn't mean I can give up so easily, just like any other person!

I watch this when I feel down and overwhelmed, thanks for that Jesse. It reminds me of both my inner strength and peace no matter what turmoil I might be in.

Absolutely! I remember coming to the end of my rope, I felt sooo hopeless after a lot of success in my life had ended. I was beginning to have a complete breakdown, I just started crying ... so I began to pray! The very next day on, everything went back to good! It was that dramatic! The ONLY thing that has ever helped me is the man upstairs, he absolutely let me know he was there and pulled me out! I'm sorry to preach , but I am being completely honest!! I thought that was pretty freaky how it all worked out. I always hear People say "oh I heard God, I talked to Jesus . Well -- Now I believe them!

I went through this kind of stuff for most of this year and I just want to say these videos were really valuable. To know that so many of the musicians I grew up with had dealt with similar demons was shocking but inspiring. Thanks so much, Jesse, for your music and encouragement. God bless

Thanks man for sharing, I also think you're a strong person, and what most stands out to me is that you're willing to share some of that strength with those who may have lost it. Thanks man for all that you share in your videos, your music and the great person you are. I do believe in God and I do believe that when you most need Him He's always there ready to lend a hand. Thanks Jessie and never give up the good fight.

If Chester Bennington was here, he would've heard this message and he would've known that depression and suicide is never the answer and he's never alone.

I hope things are going better for you, but as nice as it is to say what you said, you're the one keeping yourself alive. You are making the decision to live. Finding inspiration and hope in music is a beautiful thing, but you're the one deciding how you live your life at the end of the day.
