Warhammer Superstitions - How do they change across Game Systems?

I wanted to know, do different game systems encourage different superstitions amongst gamers, so I have polled gamers from across the different systems - 40K and Fantasy, Oldhammer and Nuhammer! The results surprised me!

On the topic of 'themed' dice bringing better fortune to an army - I do mostly historicals and I could swear when I acquired a lot of Roman numeral D6s, my Romans went on an absolute tear across several game systems.
I'm sure there's a psychological component to that last one - your opponent shows up with a nice shiny new model that they're super proud of so you kill it fast to BREAK THEM 😈
If my dice get too warm from handling them during the game I will set them aside and pick up some "fresh" ones from my pool. I don't really know why I do this, but something in my mind just tells me that when they're too warm then they're gonna roll against me. The truth is warm or cold, my dice roll against me regardless. But when lizard brain screeches for, lizard brain gets.
Colour coordinated dice, and dice with faction emblems, this is another big one for me, in warhammer fantasy and mutant chronicles: warzone I have dice matched to my particular colour scheme, army theme, and faction emblem where I can find it. I have refused to play my Malalite Chaos Warrior army for fantasy, despite it being finished for years, because I cannot find ANYONE selling the RIGHT KIND of black, white, and purple marbled d6s. My Martian theater theme warzone armies have d20 sets with the primary colour marbled with an orange or red, hideous, but appropriate.
I keep separate dice for my magic phases in whfb 6e. They're not to be rolled for anything else, ever.
25:20 I think this comes from the probability of the stacked saves, like, you've got a modified 5+ armour save and a 5+ ward save stacked on top as well. You're more likely to make a 5+ roll if you've got 2 chances at it than just the one try from just the armour OR ward save.
25:50 I fucking hate this shit, so much, it's annoying, embarrassing, flagrantly disrespectful, utterly contemptable behavior. If I'm at an event I will be calling on the T.O. about this and marking down a poor sportsmanship score if that's on the card. We're playing with toy soldiers, but that's no excuse to act like a 5 year old again.
I think we need a Mythbusters style follow up to this. Maybe a battle where we test as many of these as we can
I keep my RPG dice away from my Warhammer dice. I do not want my Warhammer D6's to feel intimidated by the RPG D12's and the D20's.
See I'd look at it the other way, I wouldn't want my RPG dice learning bad habits from my Warhammer D6s!!!
Pretty sure that the newly painted models dying first is due to a hex cast by GW in the 80s to force you to make army changes and therefore buy more models, paints, glue etc.

HAHAHA I'm ashamed to say that I'm one of the people who can get very noisy while gaming. Although only with people I know also like to roleplay though to be fair. Great vid though bud it's amazing some of the replies you got to this, crazy stuff. - Luke

I set my dice with the 1s facing up. I hope they’ll get bored and show a different face when I roll them.
From that I'm guessing fantasy player? Because you're deceiving your dice instead of intimidating them.

I love to wind up a Mordheim buddy of mine by carrying on rolling dice that have a bad run of rolls. I’m not at all superstitious about it, so it makes me chuckle to watch him lose his mind that I won’t stop using those dice 🤣

Im always sus about opponents themed dice, particularly if it's a big badge, thats going to be unbalanced!!
Any engraved dice run this risk, unless pips are printed on a flat surface it'll never be 100% perfect.
