How To Manually Delime a Dish Machine

In this video, we’re going to review how to manually delime a dishwasher.
Before anything else, drain the dishwasher and refill with clean water.
You want to pour delimer into the dishwasher’s tank according to the product’s instructions regarding dilution.
Then run a delime cycle for 15-20 minutes, allowing the delimer to pump through the system.
Open the door to pause the cycle, and let the delimer soak for about 15 minutes.
Afterwards, close the door, and the rest of the cycle will wash away the remaining limescale.
Don’t forget to switch off the delime cycle when you’re done.
Repeat once or twice a month, depending on your water’s hardness level.
It’s important to routinely delime your dishwasher, otherwise limescale buildup can occur on internal components, like the rinse arms or heating elements, prematurely wearing them out.
