I'd say they have the recognition; they headlined Glastonbury. I do agree though, they do need a larger following, because they are a pretty solid band.
I love how Kasabians music gets better as it goes on because Serge is one of the most experimental artists to ever exist but know how to keep grounded with that sound that catches your ear. What a fucking band
Not gonna lie...love this band...from beginning to end! Sorry Tom and everyone I'm a 51yr old and you make me jump about on a Friday night...CHEERS lol 😆😂😅🤣
Got the album used at an FYE in August for my 27th birthday. The copy I have is an original US Promo CD. I fell in love with this song, "Running Battle," and "Test Transmission." I always wanted that album ever since I heard "LSF" when I was a kid.
Still gets me after all this time I could listen to this tune over and over....got to be in my top 5 of all time flaves. Kin wicked man...Kin wicked...safe.
Someone at CSI really liked this band. 3 of their songs got featured in various seasons of the show. This isn’t rare-some bands get 2 songs featured in one episode. But these guys got 3.
After not hearing this for years, I just had a sudden compulsion after it just popped into my head. Takes me back a bit to when I'd listen to this on E4 music in the morning before school.
This song understands my inner supervillain like no other. I miss the version I had that was maybe earlier than this was recorded? A friend introduced me to Kasabian years ago. Underrated and still love this.
Wow. Didn't know this track had a video. When I searched them on UA-cam first time in 2009 this channel wasn't here yet. I guess the clips I watched were on the label's channel, or fan submissions that got erased later.
2004: Kasabian release the iconic 'Cut Off' & its [even today] amazingly original music video. 2013: The first incarnation of the 'Sharknado' embarrassment of a "movie" franchise is _[SOMEHOW!]_ spawned into existence. Preceding 'Sharknado' by *NINE WHOLE YEARS,* & yet the Great White Shark in 'Cut Off' _STILL_ remains far, *FAR* superior & menacing in _EVERY_ way possible!🦈
I went to see them on the 7th. They were amazing. But this has always been my favourite song. Anyways, i took my exams last week for GCSE and i was doing a science paper. I opened the paper and the first question had the explination before the question so you know what the people were doing. Anyways, i opened the page and the first sentance was 'John was a Scientist' And im actually not kidding. I just sat there laughing for about 40 mins. Small world :D
No I don't think so, there was an interview or something where they talked about the old drummer, and then they also mentioned somewhere else that having Ian drum for them was great because they didnt have to just perform with a recorded drumbeat. I dunno every Kasabian music video/performance had Chris Karloff on guitar and keyboard. What makes him so awesome is that he plays guitar and the keyboard together in the same song, and co-wrote the first album :D
1) Where Did All The Love Go? 2) Cutt Off 3) Processed Beats 4) Shoot The Runner 5) Underdog 6) Man Of Simple Pleasures 7) L.S.F. 8) Fire 9) Re-Wired 10) Me Plus One
I've been following Kasabian since I saw them open for Pinback and Nada Surf waay back in like 2006 in SD. They blew Pinback away (sadly) and rocked as hard as Nada Surf
Most underrated band of all time.
They have over 1 million likes on Facebook. They are very good but they really aren't underrated, they're quite popular.
+Tom Langford compared to lots of artists, kasabian are seriously underrated though
Jeff Oseman Most underrated band of all time is a bit of a stretch. I know some fantastic bands that only have a few thousand likes on Facebook.
yeah, there are tonnes of amazing bands that don't have nearly enough recognition
The most underrated band of all time is New Order
I love every single Kasabian song, but I think this one is my most favourite.
I like the beat to this one, because it has a certain flow to it
That 1st line!
👁👁✍
-👩⚫🤣
this band needs more recognition.
defo
I dont want pop fans here.
I'd say they have the recognition; they headlined Glastonbury. I do agree though, they do need a larger following, because they are a pretty solid band.
Most of the best bands are underrated the damned ,s.l.f.,the stranglers. ,new order to name but a few. Maybe they are too brilliant ?
Than they would not be an *indie*-band ...
I want this Kasabian back!
This has aged very well. 21 years old and still sounds cool af
I love how Kasabians music gets better as it goes on because Serge is one of the most experimental artists to ever exist but know how to keep grounded with that sound that catches your ear. What a fucking band
And Tom is gone so the band has no reason to still exist
@@albertwesker6153the ain’t Kasabian without Tom, a top class frontman , Serge don’t cut it as a frontman
@@samuraininjarockstar9355 I know I didn’t type me comment correctly
@@albertwesker6153 no worries 👍
I love all their albuns, but I think The First One The best, and I believe that is because of Karloff's contribution
underrated masterpiece
kasabian songs are timeless masterpieces!
Kasabian is a REALLY good band and deserve more than they get
Fantastic track, can’t believe this is 18 years old. Think the actual music video is from 2005.
2021 and we're still here mate epic band 👌🏼
not quite, still another year until it turns 18.
These guys have such a unique, badass sound 👊🔥
They are so freaking cool I swear
They deserve billions likes..they are great..a special band
doesnt matter what mood your in, they deliver everytime!! AWESOME BAND and they just get better and better....
True masterpiece. Music and video. Wish there was more music like this in the world.
john and his LSD directed shoot the runner
Just an immense band
John was a scientist, he was hooked on LSD.....Fucking love this song!
The best album. Karloff is missed.
CHRIS KARLOFF... we miss you so much.
Probably the most underrated kasabian songs, sooo good.
still listening to this, still one of my favs. thats a very good band
Not gonna lie...love this band...from beginning to end! Sorry Tom and everyone I'm a 51yr old and you make me jump about on a Friday night...CHEERS lol 😆😂😅🤣

hey 2020 I'm still there
Going through this band's "back catalog" as it were and I just keep finding amazing and fun songs. Want to see them live so bad!!
0:50 Through the backbone, a sonar system, these clever Corn Flakes! 😅
as a hadcore grindcore and deathmetal head, DNB dj and what not ........ I CAN ASSURE YOU THIS IS THE BEST BAND in the world
Not even close. When you say you like DnB I bet you mean commercial shite like Pendulum. 🤣
Genius! One of the best bands ever.
P.S.they knew about sharknado before it became mainstream xD
Kasabian have got to be one of the best bands around at the moment, always been good ;)
Still gets me after all this time I could listen to this tune over and over....got to be in my top 5 of all time flaves. Kin wicked man...Kin wicked...safe.
Sharks never eat awesome musicians
ForeverAlonelvl100 Justin bieber and ed sheeran are next in the sharks mouth
@@crimsonclaw8145 I like Ed more then Justin though
Two out of four of the members here have been 'cutt off' from the band
The way the people run reminds me off GTA :3
this is not underrated this is just for the best:D most powerful song ever, most powerful band ever:D
Only just realised that this song is about the mk ultra mind control projects that took place in america in the late 60s and 70s. Genius!
The most amazing piece of music ever composed.
Shame what's happened. Surge has some real integrity and balls. Fair play to him and I hope they make more great music.
favourite song from their first album..maybe from their discography..f***** awesome..
Words can not describe how much I love this song. 400+ plays on my iPod and counting.
Love Kasabian... I didnt realize how good is this song
What a fabulous band that is totally underrated pure talent
Someone at CSI really liked this band. 3 of their songs got featured in various seasons of the show. This isn’t rare-some bands get 2 songs featured in one episode. But these guys got 3.
Totally agree. Tunes were amazing!!
People need to acknowledge the NME version of this song. Outrageously good
My favorite songs by Kasabian are this one and L.S.F.
The drums on this video sound better than they did on the album!
This is UK rock.
After not hearing this for years, I just had a sudden compulsion after it just popped into my head. Takes me back a bit to when I'd listen to this on E4 music in the morning before school.
Pride of Leicester ❤️❤️
My fave song by them
kasabian is a great band!,
Yay my favourite band love this song
Some of the best things in life mostly go unnoticed (this band).
they lrft out the best part of the song, the drum solo at the end
Just found this band through the comments of a Plague Vendor song. Not sure what fucked up rock I’ve been living under but I’m so glad to be here now
Could anyone tell me which is the first street that is shot in the video? thanks a lot.
I'm not a big kasabian fan, but I listen to this song at least once a day. Very good.
i only discovered them last year, they have really grown on me!
This song understands my inner supervillain like no other.
I miss the version I had that was maybe earlier than this was recorded?
A friend introduced me to Kasabian years ago.
Underrated and still love this.
Name version? If so it’s on UA-cam
Thanks for Kasabian for this piece of art.
It reminds me a great period of my life
im dying for all kasabian songs, but this is the best

Tom looks like Richard Ashcroft in this video
the clothes and way he walks yes but not really the face

Ya.. In some regards he is looking like Richard.
Just imagine Richard are singing this song, it will best interesting! Their voice is similar!
Amo essa música

In the future they do will be influenced by them and sing about me and the pageant girls in paradise.
Just wished they would play more of their old stuff at gigs
What a cool vid and I totally love this song! Tommy is looking mighty fine as well.

Kickass song.
nope, you're not insane. this is the first time i've heard this version too. i've been listening to something VERY different!
My dream is to watch this videoclip in HD resolution for a thousand times
Kasabian are the kings! also just discovered this unsigned indie/Britpop band called THE BLUE COLLARS worth a check.
I FREAKIN LOVE THAT SHARK
The synthesizer that sounded in the disk version gave him a better final
