this track always takes me back to the 1990s madchester scene. it has that happy mondays swagger fused with the rippling riffs of the stone roses down to a tee.
You can still do it if you want to, alarms too. It’s really easy. I guess most people don’t look into how to change it. I don’t really care to cuz I wanna hear the whole song!
I've always wondered how well they're received in the states. There's a void in the rock genre in recent years and I feel kasabian are the only ones who can fill it but they're overlooked by many and just don't seem to have much exposure.
when you listen to a song for the first time , you may just like it or LIKE it .. then you come back a week or two weeks later and you give it a 2nd listen .. you just fall in love of that song
He bandas!
Its like the 70s bands stayed young and adapted theit to today. Kasabian are the real deal. They smell british rock of today though..plus I luv all their videoclips and their greasy long hair!
I like how Tom does that thing with his shoulder. In video's now he don't do that. My brother has started to do that when he's got a microphone when he's recording with his band. I asked him why and he said 'You don't know what to do when you have the microphone and you're not singing yet - it's a sign of starting out' Well.. i don't know if that's true. But Tom in this just looks cute anyway :)
Track delves into themes of rebellion, defiance, and the search for personal freedom. This song explores the ways in which societal norms and expectations can drive individuals to break free from conventional paths and embrace their own unique identities. It highlights the importance of defiance and standing up against oppressive forces. The hook of the song, "I ran from the tide, won't let you hide," symbolizes the resistance against conformity and the refusal to be subdued by societal pressures. It serves as a rallying cry, urging listeners to reject the status quo and embrace their individuality.
I came back here after 8 years from my last comment expecting this song will get the highest amount of views or at least top 3, turns out is still underrated, how? I met them with this song.😭💔
I forgot that Tom was such a good looking fella when he was young. His alcoholism really did a number on him. He's not aged well at all. Also, now that he's not in the band anymore, it's time to bring back Karloff and try to replicate that older Kasabian sound again. They never did top the debut.
Damn, I remember this song being on the demo UMD-disc for the fat PSP. Such a great song!
This song, Faithless - Tarantula and that Natasha Bedingfield - These Words, are the songs I remember, off the top of my head, from the demo UMD.
@@YoManSan I had Streets with 'Youre fit' instead Natasha. PSP bought in Ireland.
@@YoManSan don't forget The Zutons - Pressure Point. Epic nostalgia

Why these guys aren't more famous in the states just blows my mind!! They are so fucking awesome!!!!
Because the industry is controlled over there, these guys came from the street, not manufactured like the usual shit.
+oneloveonelifeman true though, in the UK we do have manufactured shit too.
Cos it is believed kasabian is like a indie band but Serge says he f**king hates indie bands so that put people off in da states or sommin like that
I've always wondered how well they're received in the states. There's a void in the rock genre in recent years and I feel kasabian are the only ones who can fill it but they're overlooked by many and just don't seem to have much exposure.
Debbie Hayes if anything it’s like alternative with punk and funk influence
Now Kids!!! This is Music!!! ❤️❤️

I'm pretty sure this came on my PSP back in the day. Introduction to Kadabian
I spent last night drinking champagne and dancing with Serge and Gary (trumpet player) - what a life! Most down to earth guys ever, what a band!
My favourite track from Kasabian, surely.
this is hiphop baby, can you feeeeel it brotha..shout to my thugs from the Uk baby!
when you listen to a song for the first time , you may just like it or LIKE it .. then you come back a week or two weeks later and you give it a 2nd listen .. you just fall in love of that song
They rock and have always rocked. At Edinburgh and around the world. They transcend the
ordinary.

This is pure Hip Hop.
🤣🤣🤣
They peaked with their debut album.
Tom has one of the best in tone and power voices in music! (I love Kasabian but it's true)
Missing early Kasabian...but I still love them
This band always played T-in-the-Park every time I went. Love this track.
Love the metallic drums and the epic bass loop in this track!
You guys were AWESOME on the Bažant Pohoda two days ago... You are 100% better when you're live!
Everything is cool.
Cool and, beautiful. Perfect.
My background is Mexican, I was raised in the US and yet I love this European band, long live Kasabian.
I wouldnt have expected that at all
why wouldn't you? Lots of british bands are extremely famous worldwide... (UK = best country in the world when it comes to music IMO)
Who cares?
Yes.
why do you name two countries and then a whole continent?
My son was born in 2005 and I had to get a tube train to see him at the height of summer and this album was on loop

Listened too this on the PSP. Round about that time I started to hear different music.
I forgot that Tom was such a good looking fella when he was young. His alcoholism really did a number on him. He's not aged well at all.
