I've been a photographer for a long time, and a long time ago I realized how inappropriate it sounds to use the word shoot when talking with people who aren't photographers. Now I always consciously use the word photograph in place of shoot.

RatchetGaming People who wear contacts know what they look like when someone else wears them. I’m guessing because the pupil hole was quite large (contacts have to have a big pupil hole so the eyes can adjust in dark places without getting a blurred vision)

I ask my friends if they can pose for me and they refuse...Usually they say they don't look nice and soo...I keep telling them they look nice and they shouldn't think of themselves that way but they are very shy...I took few photos of my sister and I totally loved it but every photo I took she kept saying: "I am not photogenic at all, look at my face omg..." and such stuff...I wish I had friends that wanted me to take photo of them!
