Dear Bill, love how you made your rock strata. Very cool how you made the curved up layers. Really adds depth to this part of your layout. Curious for your next steps!!
The crumbled plaster actually turned out to be very effective. I really like the texture that came from it and the contrast to the other section is visually pleasing. I find that many "accidents" are upgrades to technique and adds more to your scenery pallet. Nice work and update.
Hi ya Bill. Sculpting the “ layer cake,” made a lot of sense. That area looks a lot better. Your topographical stories are always fascinating. And make your terrain very realistic. Thanks for the update. See ya next time.
Very convincing Bill! Love the rock work.
Thanks!!
Bill, your scenery is off the chart!
Thanks!!!

I love your new rock formations. You must have been driving out west on the Pa Turnpike and got some ideas from what you saw.
Thanks!! Western PA, WVA and VA as well 😃
It's looking good Bill👍👍
Thanks Charles!!!

Thanks Norman!! It’s fun to make a history of the land we model 😃
Looking great! You were right to cut into the rock rather than build it up. It looks much more natural now.
Yeah that made a positive improvement 👍🏼
That area does look good. Are you going to build something for the tunnel portal, or leave it rock? Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Larry!! Given the tight clearance it will probably just stay a rock portal
Bill, do you show how you use the wire brush to add techture for your rock faces. If not, would you demonstrate it before you are complete?
Hi Rick. I have a couple of how to videos coming up that show how I use the wire brush 👍🏼
😊
Thanks Randy!!
