The yellow wasn't responsible at all lol. Literally wasn't until halfway through the 10 minutes that they began piling on tries... and they put more on them after the 10 minutes was over anyway.
Why is this channel not showing yellow and red card incidents - its the same with the super rugby club highlights. These moments are critical (maybe not today) but at least relevant.
Not sure what game you were watching.. no red card incidents in the game.. one mistaken yellow card, one possible (at most) yellow card given as a penalty.
Shoulder to the head that could have been a straight red but was certainly a yellow, and a high tackle that was certainly a yellow if the French one was, in the same incident, neither of which was carded. Let's just say the AB's had the rub of the green and the ref needs to justify his decisions.
Ability to ride the tackle, stay composed, look for support line then finally make a pass that sticks, just next level skills from every man in the AB side.
The best sport team on the planet. Yes, the best sport team of all sports. You can have your Man U, Brazil German football, NY Yankees, Real Madrid, etc, but they can't hold a candle to the All Blacks. For over 100 years, they have been dominate. Their win/ratio is so high, they have scored more test tries than any other nation.
The All Blacks were sloppy for most of the game, but really took advantage of an underserved yellow card for the French. That’s when the momentum shifted completely. Also, so glad to see that new AB prop, his first scrum was awesome, what a moment
Was a great game to watch, you could tell the crowd was enjoying at the start with a Mexican wave that circled te stadium 3 times and uh... a streaker at about 70 minutes 😂
Surprised to see teddy Thomas faster than Rieko Ioane by some distance. Had to start zigzagging towards the end because he was catching him. Think he might do something special next week
All Black fan, French were great up until the 50th then capitulated completely. Should have gone to TMO for the high tackle leading to sin bin not sure why he didn't. Cane and Fasi were lucky as well but NZ still the best team in the world by a distance. DMac and Laumape off the bench just battered the bruised French. Looking forward to rest of the series.
This will be the last generation where a country will enjoy such, almost unlimited success at the highest level. The rest of the world will catch up but for now this team is so superior to anyone else its ridiculous
I hope your right mate cause it will make for some awesome games...im all blacks fan but i love the game more...good competetion puts interest in people...right?
I'm French and embarrassed... The worse part is that all tries were not scored because of brilliant and unheard off plans, nope, just because the kiwis are, individually, better, smarter and more athletic players than our "bleus".
Hey footy brethren it must be frustrating being your teams first hit out but be patient "sing when winning" sorrow and heartache when they were downed by ousted by les bleus from world cup back in the day. You guys will have your time under the sun just not to be yet.
France was still in the game until the yellow card. Good on the All blacks for capitalising on 14 men. They can't start like that next week game 2. Have start strong.
Rex Mailo Don't make excuses for French, yellow card was only active for 10minutes. France had the whole 80mins to perform. A good team doesn't fall apart when they get a yellow card - they adapt, pick up morale and work harder. Since yellow card was lifted they scored no points, matter fact none in the second half. 52 to 11 is a spanking.
1:22 the French player absolutely did not bother committing himself to the ball. He allowed Taylor to score the try. Having an extra player would have made no difference. 1:53 was a poor tackle attempt, having the extra player on the field would have made zero difference. You can even see the French players just casually jogging along instead of, say, landing a try-saving tackle on Bender. 2:24 literally the wing not bothering to mark Reiko. Instead just pointing his arm out then moving across far too late. Having the extra player again - no difference. ...thus we conclude that the yellow card had absolutely no influence on any of these tries. A poor defensive performance from the French on the other hand, most certainly did. Seems like they lost their steam after 50 minutes.
FirstSeal reiko was jst toying with him..lol.. im talking about rugby in general watched the top14 semis and final and it was boring as hell, slow and most mistakes,no rythm to be honest
Reiko was saving his energy. There was no point in him running as fast as he could. He already knew he had the try so took his time and conserved energy
would have been a different game had that yellow card not been handed out. coming from a french supporter i still think the all blacks would have won, but it would have been much much closer.
ABs had momentum from late in the first half. Card did not help the French at all and warranted tmo decision. They would've still pulled through the ABs but not by the margin at the end. A shame really, good running game of rugby marred by a few bad decisions by the ref.
That yellow card doesn't excuse the French's absolute failure on defence. You can't moan about yellow cards in test Rugby. These are the top professional players from each country. Compare that to the red card we got against the Lions and they only managed to beat us by one penalty as opposed to seven tries.
They weren't the better side before the yellow card. If they were then they would have continued defending with 14 men, maybe conceding one try, then made a comeback afterwards. Oh and of course it's different - a red card actually impacts a game massively. A yellow card doesn't excuse the team giving up hope so blatantly.
Would not have made much difference once the abs got in the rhythm, and I know the refs gotta start somewhere, but that ref was terrible. Positioning was not up to the pace, snap decisions that others would TMO on. Run the side line a bit more I think.
The yellow card was a real shame. It was a good contest up until that point. All I saw was a young upstart of a referee, full of himself and his own ego, and trying stamp his mark on the match by making a quick and decisive decision on the spot. Yeah.. well you're the man mate, but you also got it seriously wrong and f*cked the contest. Granted, there's every chance the All Blacks would've run away with it anyway, all I'm saying, is that up until that point of time it went from being a test match to a forgone conclusion in a matter of minutes. Damn shame.
There was no excuse for the French allowing any of the tries through while down a player though. The lack of a loose forward had zero influence on their poor defending on their wings.
Reiko Ioane's footing can't have been that great given he was almost run down from a head start. I know Thomas is fast but not that fast... great chase. Ioane needs to make sure he can burn people like he did last year. A bit alarming if he is slow off the mark.
He wasn't at full pace boys. Compare the initial burst of speed and technique in his running when he first intercepted to 40 meter's out where he knew he had it in the bag, even taking in to account the winger chasing.
I thought there was controversy? Why are dudes always talkin no euro competes v southern hemisphere teams in the air, and carte blanche dangerous double team tackles on touring sides in nz? Watch the highlights people
I'd like to see them do well, but France are crap. They collapse every time they face NZ, at home in France but especially in NZ. Shipping 50 is a poor effort, even taking into account how good the AB's are. And the AB's a brilliant. But France...where is the pride? Where is the fight?
Plus very few people would want to invade-right? ;-) Seriously Jon Paul; you need to educate yourself before making stupid barbs like that. How do you think you would have gone?
Nah mate the French have beaten us in New Zealand few times and even beaten us in the world cup but I don't see it happening again for years they don't have many good players anymore but with the all blacks there's all ways new hero's coming in to fill those old boots like Richie McCaw, Dan Carter and Jonah Lomu and many more.
in rugby there are two rules, one for the All Blacks and the other for the opposing team ... no red card or even yellow for the All Blacks !!! and the normal rule for the opposing team ... if there are wounded sorry it's just an accident. I say no ! it's just unfair ...
High tacle on Medard by #1 AB (32nd), penalty but no yellow card. Gabrillagues gets yellow card plus penalty for alleged (non-existent) high tackle (51st). Double high tackle on Grosso (58th), double skull fracture, no HIA, no yellow/red card and just a penalty. Double standards apply, as usual.
5 tries in 15 minutes WOW!!!!!!!
2:25. Aaron Smith laugh 😄
Yeah, he's like a hyena !!! 🤣🤣🤣
You can hear his laugh a lot during tries. 😉
that escalated quickly..
Daryl Wathen because of the yellow card which wasn't a yellow card
Malcolm Inch agreed the yellow card was harsh, but if that had been the abs playing with 14 men, I still think they woulda put 3+ tries on them
The yellow wasn't responsible at all lol. Literally wasn't until halfway through the 10 minutes that they began piling on tries... and they put more on them after the 10 minutes was over anyway.
Was going to happen regardless mate.
Undoubtable the best rugby in the world!! running the ball and offloading KINGS!!!!
And they've been doing it for years, they are just too good
That french 14 has some gas!! Respect the chase
Why is this channel not showing yellow and red card incidents - its the same with the super rugby club highlights. These moments are critical (maybe not today) but at least relevant.
Those footage doesn't exist anymore. Missing from other channels too
Not sure what game you were watching.. no red card incidents in the game.. one mistaken yellow card, one possible (at most) yellow card given as a penalty.
I'm referring to the channel in general, not just this video - though there were incidents to show from this match too
Shoulder to the head that could have been a straight red but was certainly a yellow, and a high tackle that was certainly a yellow if the French one was, in the same incident, neither of which was carded. Let's just say the AB's had the rub of the green and the ref needs to justify his decisions.
The test match between Italy and Japan held today was nice game.
Ability to ride the tackle, stay composed, look for support line then finally make a pass that sticks, just next level skills from every man in the AB side.
The best sport team on the planet. Yes, the best sport team of all sports. Taylor had a beast of a game! Great chase by Thomas
dane coles is ready to be on the bench lol
i thought dane coles retired? he's surely lost his spot.
Incredible brothers.
How strongs the new prop👍👍👍what a beast

was a thing of beauty his try, him and DMac combined really well
That bounce made me jump up from my chair

Was a great game to watch, you could tell the crowd was enjoying at the start with a Mexican wave that circled te stadium 3 times and uh... a streaker at about 70 minutes 😂
That Laumape try was just to sweet
Surprised to see teddy Thomas faster than Rieko Ioane by some distance. Had to start zigzagging towards the end because he was catching him. Think he might do something special next week
Big game for taylor something to watch out for in the future i say
All Black fan, French were great up until the 50th then capitulated completely. Should have gone to TMO for the high tackle leading to sin bin not sure why he didn't. Go NZ! From an Argie
I went to game
Also the Barretts started
What a brilliant display of rugby!! All Blacks baby!!! Rieko Ioane!!!
I mean, New Zealand's backline is unrivalled in World Rugby, you sub the stars with stars, the depth, it's... idk.
This will be the last generation where a country will enjoy such, almost unlimited success at the highest level.
The rest of the world will catch up but for now this team is so superior to anyone else its ridiculous
TJ Strength , and how many other people thought the same thing!! And how many times have they thought!!!!
I hope your right mate cause it will make for some awesome games...im all blacks fan but i love the game more...good competetion puts interest in people...right?
john Blake ..wrong injoy an be greatfull.
Wonderful AB tries - every one top quality - I think the French captain has been eating too many pies - easily beaten in the second half...
amazing team. all blacks.
The difference between the teams is very bigger!
why isn't Ben Lam in?
That's a paddling
Well done ABs ,doesn't really matter about the last one though. It was not a try but really don't think the French care .lol
This all black side was so good
French totally outclassed there. This was a rout.
D MAC for life baby...
That’s because no matter who we field it looks like our A team.
Reman Gurung DMaC attaCk!!
And they asked hansen bout the yellowcard even he said wasnt warranted but its not up to any of us or the team.
I'm French and embarrassed...

Man very good rugby all blacks, all class world beaters.
In real time in can understand why the ref thought it was a high tackle. But that's what the TMO is for.
France was still in the game until the yellow card. Good on the All blacks for capitalising on 14 men. They can't start like that next week game 2. Have start strong.

Rex Mailo no. They always start poorly..the difference is their fitness...
Crotty somehow did not score in the lead up to the first try
I know this was seven years ago but how is that a try to France when the ball was lose on their side of the Field should've been no try .
0:37のトライはすごい
wtf the visuals.
1:22 the French player absolutely did not bother committing himself to the ball. He allowed Taylor to score the try. Having an extra player would have made no difference.

I love them:-)
french top 14 no match for super rugby
FirstSeal reiko was jst toying with him..lol.. im talking about rugby in general
watched the top14 semis and final and it was boring as hell, slow and most mistakes,no rythm to be honest
Reiko was saving his energy. There was no point in him running as fast as he could. He already knew he had the try so took his time and conserved energy
You can see Reiko turning around to look at him with a giant grin on his face. If he wanted to he could have easily kept away from him completely.
FirstSeal nah he was taking the piss
would have been a different game had that yellow card not been handed out. coming from a french supporter i still think the all blacks would have won, but it would have been much much closer.
codie taylor had a great game
2:35 *sorry!* I did it again. I watched *3* of the *best* in a row! 👍
really need to look at the rucks of the abs.. touching and moving ball forward and leaving it in the rucks is a infringement.
I miss rugby.
So many match play in 1 years in the top14, french team are bad for that
ABs had momentum from late in the first half. Card did not help the French at all and warranted tmo decision. They would've still pulled through the ABs but not by the margin at the end. A shame really, good running game of rugby marred by a few bad decisions by the ref.
Codie Taylor filling in for Dane Coles......if Taylor keeps playing like this Coles won’t get his place in the side back.
Wow. Poor french team...
Gérard Farenc
Poor Irish too.....southern hemisphere rules.
That yellow card doesn't excuse the French's absolute failure on defence. You can't moan about yellow cards in test Rugby. These are the top professional players from each country. Great running rugby, but that dodgy officiating in the second half leaves a sour taste.
I thought all three Barrett's were superb.
L'attentat sur Grosso on en parle ?
ALL BLACK FOREVER ❤️❤️❤️LAUMAPE « THE BEAST » 🤙🏾🤙🏾🤙🏾
who are these french you speak off?
not that it would have changed the outcome but that last try shouldnt have been allowed

Bombastic Badass Brigade he would’ve been abit fatigued 1st half is when he’s always left players in his dust
He did look a bit slow, didn't he?
Too many late night burgers with Jordie, I think - who, coincidentally, also looks too slow.
He wasn't at full pace boys. Compare the initial burst of speed and technique in his running when he first intercepted to 40 meter's out where he knew he had it in the bag, even taking in to account the winger chasing.

The French are going back to their ww2 tactics lol.
Easy to write when your nation has always been sheltered by the ocean (or the english channel when talking about the brits).

No pads, no helmets, Just balls.

Absolutely foooooook all
High tacle on Medard by #1 AB (32nd), penalty but no yellow card. Gabrillagues gets yellow card plus penalty for alleged (non-existent) high tackle (51st). Double high tackle on Grosso (58th), double skull fracture, no HIA, no yellow/red card and just a penalty.
Double standards apply, as usual.

Another brilliant performance by crybaby Crotty, the flog knows how to milk 'high' tackles
Just came to watch this after a rainbow warrior doco
Only trials, no game facts, no controversial referee decisions - nice but this is not the real story
More specifically, 2 Black yellows missed on Grosso's injury and one imaginary Blue yellow
French fries
