    Your stable is beautiful, horses are beautiful. I can't help but point out, feeding grain is a no no without giving them some sort of hay/ forage to get their tummys going first. Especially if they have been shut in a stall all night. You obviously have loads of experience and know what works best at your barn for your horses. I want to point that fact out for any young newbies that may be following you 😊 Happy New Year to all !

    Eleese, you are a huge inspiration to me. You make me motivated to reach my goal to have my own bar just like you do. You are an amazing writer and I hope to be like you one day keep up the great work.

    You should do another video of you riding Patton, nick, or Angelo aroud your house and property I know don’t ride them anymore but those are always fun videos! If they are still able to carry someone on their back

    Where did you get your feed bin?

      We got it from a local feed store:)

      @@lost_sky4191 If I'm not mistaken, the type brand bin is likely Horsemens Pride. They have fantastic products! It's a US manufacturer I believe.

    What do you use to ferment your manure? We just bought our first farm and are trying to figure out what to do about manure.

    • @daniwatkins8439
      @daniwatkins8439 28 днів тому

      @@slynnmcrae if you're in the states and have a small private farm you pretty much have 2 choices..
      -Pay someone to haul your pile away regularly
      -Purchase a manure spreader to chop and throw it over your fields (fertilizer)
      There are many factors that play into what option is best. You must have enough open fields and land to accommodate the manure and more importantly whatever bedding you're using making sure it breaks down and works with land soil fermentation process as well as being able to give fields rest. Many horse farms struggle with this therefore getting it hauled off will likely be best option.

    Do you ride these horses? Like have an arena? etc

    They should have ad lib hay, so bad for them to be stood in with nothing to eat.

    Must be nice to sleep in. Our turn out is 5:00 am.. windchill of -20 below zero. Beautiful barn.

    Why arent these your primary horses?

      these are all her old horses or horses that aren't in work at the moment, so they're just like pasture pets at her house and she doesn't have the facilities at her house for her in work and show horses at her house, so they stay at a hunter jumper showing barn off property
      i'm pretty sure

    Why dont you have chino, apple, and london at your farm?

    • @JaysHorseyWay
      @JaysHorseyWay Місяць тому

      Those 3 are her show horses and she only has a 4 stall barn and if I was her I would also keep the other 3 at the lesson barn where the lesson instructors are not only for that factor but they have arenas at her lesson barn it would be easier on the rider in a way but this is just my guess
