I agree with an indoor trainer setup. I am just learning the benefits of an indoor trainer. I live in Florida, so we can train outdoors year around, but spent two months on the trainer working on bike cadence, and when I went outdoors my cadence had improved by 10 rpm. My Christmas present is a new better trainer and trainer setup.
Elite Justo, Rizer and Aria for the best Zwift indoor setup. The Justo provides just enough rocking. The Rizer provides elevation and steering. The Aria provides cooling. Justo combines all the ANT (HR and Cadence) into it's power Bluetooth feed. This is beneficial to the Apple TV that has very limited number of Bluetooth connections.
My favorite triathlon purchases have been: 1. My first Tri Bike (bought for about 1k secondhand) 2. Zwift Setup (trainer, tv, and Zwift) 3. My home gym setup (adjustable DB’s, barbells, half rack, two adjustable kettlebells, bands, TRX trainer) Dream purchase: Swim spa.
Yes, turbo trainer £500, gym with pool membership £40. Garmin 945 @ £420 and chest strap £100. And decent shoes £100 -£150 pair 2-3 a year. Bike was £1200. Happy with all my investment.
What you suggest between a pair of 200 Form goggles or less than 100 magic 5? Also Endless Pool need really tempting...but you need to have space for that...any comparable improver (15sec/100m in two months sounds massive) I also would add power meter you can use indoor and outdoor in order to train bike with purpose (not sure which one is more effective but i think unless is always the same you can rely on it)
@@TriathlonTaren in general standard goggles i used never leaked if properly set up...then i'm not sure magic 5 are really worth. In terms of data analisys i think while swimming is pretty important to have instant feedback in terms of efficiency and swolf (stroke count and timing) is the only way to understand if your technique is good, then i thin if you want to improve then smart goggles can really help
After six years of buying, selling, swapping, etc all my strength equipment, kettlebells have been by far the most versatile bang for my buck strength equipment I've ever owned. Do they do everything perfectly? No. But can you do any strength exercise you want really well? Yes!!! I can't think of any other piece of strength equipment that's as good for as little.
thanks . I wish I hadn't indulged in multi gym , and just got these and weight bench ..even as putting it together I thought id made mistake Dont regret kick core / turborocks rocker plate though @@TriathlonTaren

Couldn’t agree with you more on investing on the 3 main contact points of the bike. 💯
Really surprised you didn’t include a dry sauna on the list. I’ve been wanting to build one at home for years.

This sounds great!

Which turbo did you get?
@TriathlonTaren wahoo kickr but v3 I believe just before the new one with wifi came out. Previously I have the kickr core. Both are great products.
I agree about the pool.
I bought an endless pool and it's a game changer 🎉
It’s such a nice luxury hey?! I was surprised at how much I liked it
Kickr Bike. It meant no more rusting out my bike on the trainer.
I would defiantly say cockpit and bikefit speed and comfort in one fair price
For me would be my home treadmill, second is the Wahoo Kicker snap.
Which treadmill did you get?
Either a bike fit or wahoo kicker

Depends on what will get you swimming more: data to geek out on, or goggles that don't leak as much.
