This is my speculation. The city on the Moon seems like it was built and maintained by AI controlled robots in anticipation of human habitation before a natural disaster occurred on Earth. Being that woman on the moon was the last human being there, there may have been a colony of other humans on the Moon that oversaw the city. But they decided to return to Earth to be with their families and friends. The Moon only has 1/6th of Earth's gravity, but that pen-like instrument wouldn't be floating like that or bouncing around the room. It would've been on the floor, because... gravity. Sure, it looked cool, & I guess it was supposed to give you the "look" of not being on Earth, but the gravity error took me out of the suspension of disbelief pretty hard. Otherwise, neat story & great special effects.

How does it "break" it? If anything, it makes it bc for the viewers this leads to more questions (and possibles) to ponder, as every great sci-fi film, including this one, embraces. *For example: We don't know what year this takes place or how limited or not their technological advancements are. By seeing the moon and having a small "colony", that might elude to the ability to instantaneous communicate with earth. As well as this is called a science fiction and not everything is going to add up exactly. Lol.
The plot is, this guy has been suiting up, to protect himself from getting sick and dying, spending years searching for a gun and bullets to commit suicide? At least you can't have plot holes without a plot.

We will let Drew know you loved his performance!
@@nickdelgado1687 Great! Thanks!
This is almost so very close to how I imagined it about 50 years ago. Sans the floating droid. Mine was a team of seven assassin war bots. And yes we all dressed as Samurai.
Great, until the end. Where it's shown that the earth is not flooded after all. You can actually see the UK not flooded over. The premise and the plot, top notch though. NGL, the FX are really good.

... it might be late... I might have had a few drinks... I might have a different brave wave function to most...
I would never take the big sleep being alone... I have friends in my head... I can just write stories and go mad...
I only think about the big sleep in dealings with my fellow humans.
Heck, from moment one... lil robot dude is your buddy... you have a friend.
Thanks for watching! We hope you have a great buddy like WebCam in your life too!

@@nickdelgado1687 For sure✌
Love the twist ending!
Would you like to see the rest of the story?
Absolutely! @@nickdelgado1687
Thank you, @Drachenfrau! Please share with your friends so we can tell the rest of the story. Maybe we will answer why there are floating objects. Is she really on the Moon?
How did the flood affected the atmosphere? And where did he get that box from? That was no diving suit
GREAT questions! Maybe you will find out in the near future!
Good film, i enjoyed it immensely. 😀

Would be great as a mini series.

Great acting, Great production. All round great movie. Well done.
Thank you, @roccov3614! Please share the film and spread the word!
Well, I thought it was pretty darned cool. There's all these nitpickers on here who want to tear things down to every little minutia....so they can feel smart. All they do is show their lack of imagination. Life's been going on out there for longer than our perceived universe has....therefore anything's possible. Anything. I think it's great. Gonna watch it again.
Wow, thank you @bigcity2085! We are glad you enjoyed it so much. Please share with your friends!
@@nickdelgado1687 Plus I have to ask how you got Dichen Lachman ? I knew I knew her from somewhere. She was in Altered Carbon? Of course I read the books but the shows were so excellent, I won't go back to watch them for a while. I knew I knew the face. The acting was excellent for both. So was the writing.
@@nickdelgado1687 Great...now I look up Drew van Acker and he's in Lost Survivor ,so now I have to go rent that on the other side of you tube. It's turning in to my own version of Nick at Night !. cheers.
@@bigcity2085, one of our producers suggested her and sent her the material. Then she read it, liked it and said yes. As simple as that! Dichen is the best!

The instantaneous communication between Earth and Moon kind of breaks it
Thanks for your comment! That raises a very important question. Do you prefer your sci-fi to be factual or fanciful? Please leave your thoughts!
Lol.
FTL always breaks sci fi too?
@@FoxCatSirena, that’s a good point and we were going after; to make you wonder and ask questions!
@@willisman, fair question! If the story and characters work, I accept the rules of the movie as unique to them. Is it the same for you?
On the moon there is gravity.
But is she really on the Moon? Is that a window or is it a screen? ;)
The plot is, this guy has been suiting up, to protect himself from getting sick and dying, spending years searching for a gun and bullets to commit suicide? At least you can't have plot holes without a plot.
Thank you for watching and leaving your comment!
Cool! So Oumuamua is maybe a giant floating stylized pencil? Cuz why would anybody want to dry eyes when some intentional dummy suddenly ran out of ink?

Wow, the production in this short was amazing all of the special effects were top notch. The story was fantastic! I would love to see one where they figure out how to meet, now I just found your channel so there might be an episode like that. I only have one critique, I would love to see more shorts and content in general without language, that way I can share it with everyone I know, but other than that it was an awesome short :)

I am in particular curious about how the world came to end this way, how the human characters ended up where they are, why they survived but not others, whether the robots have started creating societies and cultures of their own@@nickdelgado1687
