Just went recently and there were signs up saying no fishing, something about the algae. The park was dead also seen like only two people fishing when I drove around the park.
@@mikehughes4107 on most spinning reels there's a nob on top of the reel. If you turn it to the right, the drag gets tighter and to the left it gets looser. The reason for loosing the drag is, if a big fish take the bait, it'll literally snatch your rod in the water. If the drag is loose, it'll just take line and not the rod

I noticed after you cast the bait out, you adjusted your drag? How did you adjust it and why? Looks like maybe you made it really lose???
