- Kamala Harris at her first Presidential campaign rally said, “Every person in our nation should have the freedom to live safe from the terror of gun violence. We’ll finally pass red flag laws, universal background checks, and an ‘assault weapons’ ban.”
Kamala Harris is pushing for red flag laws, which are a slap in the face to the 2nd, 4th, and 5th Amendments. Then, there are the universal background checks that require a national gun registry of all guns. And what happens next when the government knows what guns you have and their current laws aren't working to keep you safe?
Then Kamala Harris is all in for an AR-15 ban and CONFISCATION.
But here’s the kicker: trading our freedom for the promise of safety? That's the oldest trick in the book.
History is full of tyrants who dangled the safety carrot in exchange for liberty.
Spoiler alert: it never ends well for the people.
Confiscating the most popular rifle in the country? That’s not freedom. That’s oppression.
The AR-15 is America’s rifle, and taking it away from law-abiding citizens isn’t going to make us safer. It’s just going to make us more vulnerable.
Does anyone else find it ironic she wants to not only ban but confiscate the one type of gun that gives the people the most power to fight back against a tyrannical government?
No surprise from Kamala.
She fought to keep non-violent offenders in jail for cheap labor. Even after the Supreme Court ruled California’s prisons unconstitutional, her office argued to keep inmates for cheap labor.
And let’s not forget her infamous stint as San Francisco's district attorney, where she actually laughed about jailing parents over truancy. That’s right, she found it amusing to punish parents who were struggling to get their kids to school.
The only way Kamala knows how to deal with issues is through tyranny.
Her track record is a testament to that.
Instead of addressing the root causes of problems, she opts for heavy-handed measures that do more harm than good.
In the words of Benjamin Franklin: “Those who would give up essential Liberty to purchase a little temporary Safety deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.” Giving up our essential freedoms for a false sense of safety doesn’t make us safer-it just makes us stupid.
Freedom is the ability to protect yourself, not depending on a government . whose only idea of keeping you safe is to take away your ability to keep yourself safe.

As a brazilian, I live in a place where we have ULTRA stricted gun laws... It didn't solve any gun violence. On the contrary, we managed to almost ban citizens to own guns. And now the population is defenseless. Criminals continue to have better guns than police. And organized crime skyrocketed. I know what I saying. I am a cop in Brazil.

The Canadian system worked until someone screwed it up.
You checked a box on your tax return saying they could share your personal information if an election was called. Or you registered online or by phone, but you proved your citizenship by your SIN (SSN) and your citizenship status popped up.
A card would then be sent to you and you took that AND either a drivers license, or a photo ID with your name & signature + 2 proof of residence like bank statements/credit card bills.
When you voted, they took the card away from you and crossed your name out.

It comes right after the 1st amendment, and I believe their is a reason our founding father's made it the 2nd and not the 10th. I don't know of a single amendment that protects the right of a woman to have her baby killed while in her womb. Nor do I know of one that protects "gay rights".

I will admit I agree with part of the title of this video: Freedom does result when Red Flag laws and National gun registries are banned. AR-15s? No need to ban them as they are not used in enough crimes to qualify as worrisome and they aren’t really much different from Ruger 10-22s or AK-47s (civilian legal versions). Nor any other American civilian semiautomatic rifles. I consider myself very fortunate to have been raised in a pro-gun family where there were guns all over our house and I was taught to shoot ~ age 5. I didn’t even have to ask to be taught; my dad came to me one day and asked me if I wanted to learn to shoot and I said yes sir. He took me outside and put a Ruger single six in .22LR in my hand, wrapped his arms around me and helped me steady my hand and I then squeezed off 6 shots. From that moment forward when we went on weekend hikes I carried the revolver in a holster. Next he taught me to shoot a rifle, then a shotgun then a bolt 30-06. I did shoot on my high school’s rifle team and later on my collegiate rifle team. I am fortunate to live in a pro-gun state with a strong conservative legislature. We have no firearm bans, no magazine limits, no Red Flag laws, no firearm registry, we DO have campus carry (allows for firearm carry on college campuses) and Constitutional Carry.

Yes they make the gun dealers keep those records then once they close up shop they have to turn them over. What they did was go see the dealer that sold it and saw who he sold it too.
The gun was sold in 2011 and the dealer went out of business years ago. The record should’ve been in a box in a basement. Not in a database which was searched in under 30 minutes
All they can do is look up who the gun was sold to by the last FFA dealer and that still isn't justifiable reason to harass the original purchaser of the gun.

Brother you should strongly consider doing a specific series on the constitution and the bill of rights.
I would love to see you show everyone how fluid these documents are over time. The manner that the wording was selected and even the structure of priority of each right is written.

I grew up with leftists, and the ones I was around honestly believe that if we prevent the citizens from having arms, then the criminals won't be able to get them. They also believe that if they ever have "trouble", that the government will be there in time to save them. Oh, and they make no mention of the fact that the government that is supposedly going to be there in time to save them will allow themselves to have whatever arms they want. Plenty of people out there who think that way.
