Nate didn't dye his hair grey to fit in with Rupert; it was slowly turning greyer and greyer throughout the season as he became more "evil". It was fully grey once he did his heel turn.

Yeah..... and I was so looking forward to her doing Ted Lasso season 3. This was a disappointing. What bug up her bum does she have for Nate? I mean none of the other reaction channels acted like that, they were angry at Nate for his betrayal, yes, but still cheered him on because they saw his (obvious) struggle. For instance Funnylilgalreacts did a great wholesome job with all of the Ted Lasso series. I love rewatching it because I laugh and cry along with her.

Nathan Shelley is actually modeled on a real coach, "Jose Mourinho". Mourinho called himself "the special one" (like Wonderkind) during one of his first press conferences. If you look at him, Nate matches the appearance as soon as his hair goes grey. So it was sort of a transformation into a Mourinho like character to mimic a real world parallel.

It’s messed up from the beginning. He was Michelles regular therapist before somehow becoming her couples therapist so there was already a conflict of interest. Also Ted mentioned that he felt like all blame was put on him during couples therapy so it seems like he purposely sabotaged their marriage from the beginning.

The first time I had a panic attack was on a city bus at about one thirty in the morning on a Saturday night. In Minneapolis last call 1 am, so I caught the most filled southbound Hennepin Ave. bus possible. I stood in the aisle trying not to think about project deadlines and task lists with impending due dates and working eighteen hour days seven days a week for months on end. I felt myself lose it.
I fought. "Get yourself together, man!" My forebrain was yelling, but the rest of my body ignored that entirely and kept hyperventilating. I toppled like a felled tree, hit somebody's thigh with the back of my head on the way down then bonk on the aisle floor.
I thought I was dying. Thought I was having a heart attack.
Do you know what really, really helps out of control anxiety? It's when three squad cars show up and an ambulance too. And a hundred set of eyeballs watching you intentenly while you get hauled off the bus bodily because the aisle is too narrow for a gurney. Yeah, that whole situation helps out a whole lot. Knowing you screwed up everybody's ride home from a good night out. That's just peachy.
I didn't know I was having a severe panic attack until someone told me at HCMC I was having a panic attack. I thought I was having a heart attack. I thought I was dying.

Natalie REALLY dug into him tho as if he wasn’t a good character at all and he should be written out of the show.
Idk if I believe that she NEVER cared for him. I mostly recall her responding positively towards him up until he started being a prick, so I feel that was just the show & Nate doing their job, pissing the viewers off. It's common practice for the coaches to shake hands after a game. Win, lose or draw. It's not because he's obsessed with Nate.

Zava is based on Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Real life footballer that just retired actually, played in the US for LA Galaxy and was given a whole page to write a letter for the fans and all he wrote was “You’re welcome”.. incredible footballer and character but Zava’s attitude, hairstyle and celebration is like Zlatan. I recommend checking some videos of Zlatan to see what i mean, specially interviews.

While I definitely didn’t like season 3 as much as 1 and 2, I still thought it was a blast and I hope you enjoy it too

When I first heard about Ted Lasso I pictured in my head an SNL style skit with cliche culture clash. I just passed it by thinking I knew the shtick upfront.
A friend strongly recommended I give it a shot, and I trust her implicitly so I did. And I am so glad I did! One of my favorites ever.
I'm at the point I no longer say the word "fuck" like an American, but "faahk" in a poor imitation of Roy Kent. I love that he is perpetually pissed off at everything.

Coach does not have a lot of lines , the no ds and mmmh's makes him a wise man. He does have a few super wise lines throughout the series .

Something important to take into account is that every season open on a character and closes the season on that same character. Season 1 is Rebecca and season 2 is Nate. Both end in different places then where they begin. So Ted might have been really sad in the opening shot but keep that in mind ❤️
In episode 2 Jamie’s left foot cross to Sam before Dani’s face goals was perfect and it’s a call back to season 1 when he thought his left foot cross was his greatest weakness as a player.
Collin hitting the trash cans is also a call back to season 1 when another player said they were afraid to ride with him and Collin says “it’s true it’s entirely too much car for me.”
Aaand the whole dr Jacob thing hits harder if you recall Ted talking about his experience with marriage counseling and how he never felt heard and felt like he was being set up to fail.

It's the best show on the planet right now. I'm so sad it ended. But on the other hand, they didn't keep it alive for too long it turn bad. So, well done, I guess. Will miss Ted and the boys - gonna rewatch it a couple times though ;)

Nat, immediately after Ted tries to be sportsmanlike while his other coaches and team colossally fuck up by being angry: “Stop being nice you fucker!”

The first few episodes of S3 are a bit...off-kilter. But starting in episode 6, it turns into pure magic. Also of note: Every single thing the psychic predicted came true.
