. . . to borrow a phrase: I just love your videos. I’m 79 years old and have owned many Apple products beginning with the Apple II home computer, and quickly switching to the first Mac as soon as it was introduced. For about six months I knew everything there was about the Mac. That changed, of course. I try to keep up with the essentials, both technical and practical and continue to use many Apple devices, though not nearly as many as you. Yours is the most useful source of day-to-day high value comments. Thank you. But as important, your presentation is pleasant, comfortable. Much like your description of the feel of the iPhone 15 Plus.
Your videos are so well done! And your teaching is even better. Thank you for the obvious hard work you put into each of your shows. We ordered the Pro 15 and cannot wait for them to arrive!
Thank you for another great video. I think I'm pretty techy for a 70 year old but I learn something new all the time with your videos. Could you share what you have that is the "dongle"? I have not seen that before and I am curious to see if that would be a solution to off load some photos. Thank you again!
Being very satisfied with my IPhone Pro 14, I now feel as though I’m missing out on some great features and that I will probably HAVE to get the iPhone 15! It’s a typical case of “you don’t know what you’re missing”. There isn’t a good segue, but having seen the new USB capability it brings to mind that it would extraordinarily helpful if you could produce a video that could instruct on how to reduce your iCloud load. I find that I’m almost at 50 GB of memory and of course Apple wants to charge once more once 50 GB is used up. Is there an EASY way to reduce what is being stored? For example, the gazillion screen shots which I’ll probably never use, other than individually going through and deleting each one? I haven’t found a video that is terribly helpful and I am sure that you can succinctly offer a solution. Again…thank you for broadening our knowledge.
Isn’t it funny how we still call the storage on our phones and computers “hard drives”? I was a Navy submarine missile technician supervising our missile fire control systems back in the early 90s…we still had 12” oxidized aluminum discs for our hard drives! And the heads were controlled with a hydraulic actuator! Ah…those were the days of REAL hard drives! LOL
I have the regular 15. Love it. Waiting for the 17 in 2025. Rumor has it the 'regular' iPhones will start getting 120Hz Pro Motion beginning with the iPhone 17.
Hey Rich.....I have an iPhone 11 and want to upgrade to this phone but am afraid the learning curve is too steep. I'm 71 and a retired teacher/coach. Thoughts?
I’m debating which way to go when my upgrade option activates in a few months. I like the colors of the 15 series, yet I want that 5X optical telephoto lens that the 15 Pro Max has…
Great info as always Rich. I might invest in one of those. I was a little concerned at first glance that you had a Christmas tree in the background as it's only October. Thankfully you don't.- All the best.
Ha! It's a fiddly little app I've been playing with. There's so many little settings that it took me a while to figure it out. I think I'm only using about 10% of what it can do. I've been thinking about making a video in the dynamic island and how to use it. Would that be worth watching?

Thanks for a great video.

Great video Rich! What color is yours? It looks white, but I don’t see white as a color option. Thanks!
It's blue. But it's so faint that it looks white. At least on camera. When you're holding it you can tell it's got a blue hue to it.
❤thank u!

Curious. Other than cost, why not the 15 pro max? Did they feel that different in the hand?
So I have the 15 pro max too. But the lesser weight of the 15 plus just feels better to me. I guess we'll see over time if I prefer the 15 Plus.
ok now need to know how to use Lock Launcher now that you've got me persuaded to get it😀

yes. I would prefer to just ditch the app and learn about the island. that would be great. thanks for reply@@RichBowlin
@@RichBowlin I certainly think it's worth watching. I hope you decide to do it.
