As an owner of the last c-class coupé, its amazing how much the technology has advanced in just a few short years. I'm happy this is it's replacement, and probably gonna be my next motor.
Looks like a combination of CLA and E class put together!
i like the look of it. So sad that it's more than a c-coupe replacement rather than e-coupe replacement.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong but from what I understand only the interior and suspension is c class, the rest is e class (motor, drive train, chassis, etc).

e class size with c class specs for CLS price ?…i switch to a Panamera cause for 100k+ i am not sitting in a C class ..
I have e coupe mercedes and this current CLE feels smaller and less luxury when you sit behind the wheel. It feels like a c class.
@@MrNikkerttilet’s hope there’s an ELS for you then. Based on your logic then CLS looks more like a stretched-out C class than a S class 🤣
@@longpheu There isn't going to be ELS im afraid. I will change to S-class probably next if i have the money.

Mercedes you place a speaker grill on top of door sill so when you open the window the rain / water or snow will fall into it thus damaging it. Brilliant

No doubt the engineers thought of that and have a way to keep the water away from the actual speakers.
They can't hear you, trying speaking louder
No it doesn’t damage the speaker because only the membrane gets whet, the electronics are sealed in the door where no water can get to but you seem to be incapable of thinking this far
Ah well normally when it rains you will close the windows 😔

I do like the style. A beautiful shape 👌. I really like the headlights, like my CLA, in my opinion much nicer than the A-style triangular style lights.

It‘s overall aesthetics look so good, it makes me (almost) forget that it sadly has a B-pillar and fake exhausts.
But like I say, I think the car outweighs those two issues I have with it.
Everything about this car is so aesthetic except faux exhaust on the left side. Still love it though

A cracking car … shame they haven’t kept the lack of b pillar that’s in the Eclass coupe. Other than that though … it’s a definite thumbs up.

Why in these videos, they always press the button to close trunk?!? U can press/hold the trunk button on key and it closes automatically. Makes for a better vid

They brought it back as the S Class coupe actually which discontinued in 2021

It should be named CLE 200, not 300.
Only issue I have is the seat belt shuda been connected to the seats. It should only come out when the seat sensors weight. Why the hell shud it come out when you have gotten out of the car

Man I just don't understand when they fix the front when compared to any of the c or e class they fuck up the back side and vise versa 😓 why can't they simply produce a car with cle300 front and normal c or e class rare 🤕

I don't like where it is going. Two liter four cylinder - something more adequate for A-Class, if used with "AMG" lettering. Stupid "lights" everywhere, tablets with screen border width, looking like first iPad (but for some idiotic reason not having a visor over main display, which collects reflections from all around. Gadgetry for the sake of gadgetry.

You did not mention those fake exhaust tips which are really disappointing and bad engineering. Maybe you’re just ashamed or embarrassed to tell people about that. But anyway nice car 😅

Not quite there yet but with this car, I can consider forgiving Mercedes for stopping the S class coupe

The fake exhaust noise has to be the saddest, lowest point Mercedes has reached . . . yet.
This car at minimum should have a V6, not a four with fake sound coming through the speakers.
450 has a Inline 6 and the 53 AMG too

Lights are very boring and back windows don't GO DOWN. I'm owner C coupe 2018 and this is more replica... they put together C and E class and they made C class again for double price. Have a nice day from Europe
@3:29, it said there are 2 additional seats at the back & car can accommodate 4 people to "enjoy" the interior. The back seat almost touching the back of the front seats @3:29. It is a crime against humanity to put human of any size (unless you are in a baby car seat) in the back. Dark joke from Mercedes.
Those new cars these days look like they are designed by people how hate cars… wtf is happening? I don’t see anymore class elegance sportiness absolutely nothing to like lately … as a man how love cars especially mb c class coupe, i owned many previously generations since clk to 2020 face lift, i can say that i see an annoying evolution from what was once impressive to now absolutely ridiculous… i miss so much the old times, instead to keep improve what was already beautiful they make it look like a bad joke🤦🏻♂️😒
Sorry, but i don’t like it, i mean car. I Think that is not a perfect coupé. Mercedes have another older models which looks much better than this, i mean S class coupé or e class coupé. S class coupé is still one of most beautiful coupe in the market. This is just a baby e class coupé but i dont know.. in my opinion its too small, the proportions are wrong.
The dashboard is very ugly. Where are the sexy contours specially at gauges area that mingles with up class human sences? the steering wheel looks much like a Mustang one, not a Mercedes one. The rear end need some extension in the wheel overhand area with a protruding bumper ladened on its top with chrome plate to add some real luxury look, not a Korean imitation.
Although a decently looking car... Mercedes is loosing its touch on this. This is classic "solving a problem that doesn't exist". The previous model CLS's were perfectly fine. The 4 door had a great elongated body style. It was the baby of a C-Class and an S-Class. Which is strange because you might as well get an E-Class, for virtually the same price, function and interior space.
If anything, they should have made the car longer, to make it look sleek. This design looks slightly crunched.
I'd rather just get a BMW 6 Series...
In regards to it being a coupe, is incredibly stupid. You already have a C-Class Coupe, E-Class Coupe and S-Class Coupe. They really needed another one? Whats next, CLA-Coupe, with virtually no leg room? lol
Aside from that, you have models like the GT-4 Door. Which has been one of MB's best designs in recent MB history, in my opinion, along with other Mercedes enthusiasts. Really brought an aggressive look to they modern cars. Unlike the ESQ's which look waaaay to soft.
Design wise... its shit.
What is MB's fascination with curving and softening the external body design? What happened to the good days, like BMW and Audi, where they kept the angles sharp and aggressive. Maintaining the boxy edges of the car, with soft accents to showcase it's beauty.
The tail light designs in recent history have been absolutely garbage. It's no longer an honor to be behind an MB and witness it's beauty from behind.
To me, this car just reinforces MB's lack of design, but adding useless cars to their line up to "prop up" their value, along with trying to compensate those for interior tech, trying to keep up with the likes of Tesla.
However, I digress.

New generation E class and S class wount be available in 2 door coupes which is why this exists... also it comes with the 6 cylinder hybrid since the new c63 is only a 4 Pot
