Lorsque j’ai écouté la première fois cette musique True sorry tirée de l’album Illusions d’Ibrahim MAALOUF, j’ai été bluffée par cette belle illusion musicale.
Et quel duo sublime : Ibrahim MAALOUF avec la talentueuse violoniste Esther ABRAMI !

Nous sommes allés le voir avec ma fille la se dernière au Zénith de Strasbourg. Ce mec est terrible, 2 heure de grand grand bonheur..chaire de poule et larmes à l'œil. Grand show man qui a revu son registre ..n'hésitez pas un seul instant..courez vite le voir..vous passerez un moment inoubliable.

First I was in Israel at a wedding , then some tented Arab travelers place then all of a sudden NY and it’s busy pavements and before I knew it I was in some bar in New Orleans on a Saturday night . Before I knew it ended up at Carnival in Brazil . Music transported me on the wings of all previous angels who wrote music for me to enjoy in my own peculiar way . Well this was a big concert. I see the trumpeter is a big person in the world of his music as i read, and his family is well educated in many ways and his ancestors, and he him self very talented in science in early stage. It is impresive very much. It was a fresh thing and again something totaly new as every video it comes from now on to be a new eureca for me from you, and, totaly new continent discovery...

Inspiring! It takes incredible courage, not to mention skill, to step from a world of notation and certainty into a world of improvisation, grooves, and chord progressions. I heard a little bit of baroque in there一just right, not too much and not too little! Having such a supportive band helps a lot...I hope you can play with them again.

Baroque was the beginning of improvisation, grooving and chord progressions. The live recordings of that time are just missing. The colleagues from the rock fraction can handle Barock music as it is written, see: ua-cam.com/video/wqgQ7IYhvRg/v-deo.html.
