Awesome presentation! This is what we are talking about, no gatekeeping. Lonely at the top is not the way. As an expat teacher also trying to pump as much information into these UA-cam streets, I can watch your video and absolutely use the info you have given to switch. Well done. Looking forward to more like this.
Hi dear, nice presentation. Thank you. Please I'd like to ask, are there no opportunities for non-clinical nursing roles? What are your thoughts on this??
There are but the jobs are very few especially if you are looking for a job from another country that can sponsor your visa to the US. it's easier to enter the US with a clinical role and then switch to a non clinical one later on
Please, as a nurse applying for certificate of good standing from NMC uk for CGnFS. Do I necessarily need to put the reference number on the application for NMC uk, if yes what number is that cos I can’t find one. Thanks
Thank you, Theatre is good but job opportunities are not much compared to med surg or some other specialties. you can get 1 to 2 years experience in the theatre to add to your CV but also try to experience other wards too
Many fellow Nigerians I met are this too secretive…especially those from the south 😂 while being secretive is great sometimes too much of it makes someone a paranoid person
@@ScholasticaUgbokacuz I have heard others say that our training is not recognised in US; cuz we do specialized nursing ( adult nursing) unlike general nursing done in USA, so we won’t pass the evaluation. We need to meet up for pediatrics, mental health, etc .
you can browse for some online courses or university programs to do that will give you a qualification or certificate for that specialty and then you can ask to move or rotate to the oncology unit in the hospital where you work

Any hope for uk trained nurses to migrate?
That’s my question too
of course. it's even easier for UK nurses because you can take the Nclex here and your UK hospital experience will come in handy

I’m planning to migrate to the US soon, and I am currently working in med-surg, hw can I navigate to do an oncology course in the uk.
Please don't forget the state you want to reside, black friendly to you and your kids( you know what I mean),....
