So amazing that how an animal protects itself from a foreign body is considered precious! Makes you think about scars a little differently. Choose to make something that has invaded your life into something beautiful.
Eric is an absolute joy to watch and listen to so please keep having him on. Thank you so very very much!
We completely agree! Thanks for watching!
I swear this channel is made to be informative and make me wanna drain my bank account.

Right? What a beautiful, bright and inquisitive host though. Just so alluring.
I love this channel and only Eight years old learning about gems is so fun!
Thank you, London! We're so happy that you enjoy watching and learning along with our videos!
I usually really enjoy the videos this channel uploads but holy crap, the sound effects are so annoying on this video! There was no need of 99% of them and they just end up being distracting.
Aside from that, this was really cool. I personally love pearls for their simplicity and how unique each one is. It would be pretty awesome if Eric brought along some corals next time.
Agreed!! Hit the nail on the head: nearly all (if not all) were unnecessary, & there’s a lot of ‘em, which made them an unwelcome, off putting distraction. Thankfully, to the best of my recollection, this isn’t much of an issue in other vids 😮💨
I love this channel, but man I WISH that u would focus in nice and close on the stuff ur talking about so we could SEE and be able to know what we might or might not have
I love the editing so much!
The last time I was in Newport, RI I was drawn to a display case of wampum jewelry made from quayhog shell. Also in the case was a signed turquoise and silver gorget. I took the turquoise jewelry, my being a native New Mexican.
Your channel is pristine! Just marvelous. Thank you kindly.
I’ve always wanted to go to the touson mineral show but I live in Canada 🇨🇦 there are so many cool and fascinating things there. Pearls are one of my favourite gems and I loved this video! Especially these gray box unboxing videos! 👍
Glad you enjoy them Quinn! I hope that you get a chance to go to the show in Tucson one day!
The large text with the sounds are really loud and distract from the information instead off adding to it, please keep that in mind when editing the next video
I agree with the noises, but i like when it comes up for a word you sometimes wouldnt know how to spell.
Blacktop Sailor you're right
PurpleSpacePudding of not off
enjoyed hearing about pearls .Can U or Eric talk about emeralds they are my favorites
Greensboro native here
8:00 heard the music and thought the video might be over lol.
By the way I like the wacky editing, personally.
same, i collapsed full screen just to check.
Would like to see the pearl up close...
I have no knowledge of GEMS or gemology but I love this channel!
Glad you enjoy it!!
I love your videos you also inspired me to become a gemologist
Galaxy_Star 0614 it’s spelled gemologist dude

Love your videos, always very informative. Gotta say, don't know why you think the front camera is where you should do the closeup, the overhead camera is WAY better.
Nice valuable information.
That was really cool! And for something I'd like to see Eric bring another time, I'd say coral, for starters. I've been curious about it, and if he likes it, that would be perfect.
Eleven minutes, but fewer than eleven seconds actually focused on the pearl.
This is so great 😁
Most amazing thing I've seen
✔Was wondering,
Way back in the day
(70s) I use to have Pearl parties & I was told & shown to clean your Pearl's was to, "make a mudpie of Salt & Water & roll your pearl around in it." I still have many of those old Pearl's & they still have a healthy brilliance to them.
This needs more subs
Would you unbox and talk about Rutile? I was wondering about the heaviness and the process necessary to make it useable in things like machinery and prosthetics. I'm writing a story and was wondering if it would be useable, purified or not, to make a light weight arm
My grandma actually had a ring made out of her gallstone 😅
So Natalie, what do you think about mentioning any of these minerals, rocks, and fossils? Connemara Marble, Tourmaline, Archaeopteris Fossil, Larimar, and Wulfenite.
I agree with many of the previous commenters. The content is great but the editing with the noises is too loud and too distracting. It's not......not a good addition. I'd advise that you silent those.
How can we find buyer for the orange melo pearl
i have transparent pearl same size like you hold in this video .. how can i know what type of pearl is this?
because anything you show through this pearl such as object, building or human being, anything! are opposite in view.. i want to sent the picture to you
thank you
from tondo manila Philippine
I just learned about Aulauracite or auracite. It's part of the meteor itself? Pretty though
Make a video on coral
I don’t really see an issue in buying mammoth ivory since it’s a long extinct animal anyways and as for elephant ivory, I don’t really see a problem as long as you buy form a verified and legal source since the ban on elephant ivory in the 90s has made it illegal anyways to stop the brutal killing of elephants.
I agree. I mean, the antique ivory pieces were already made. There's no point in letting them just sit there.
I love pearls they have belly buttons like a kind of living pet could be and I have had many experiences learning about pearls and one day I was blessed with a real natural pearl necklace from a thrift store I always wear a tester pearl now to test for the gritty or the slick and u being smart know what the difference is .
The sound effects with the text is way too loud, it’s overwhelming. Just show the text along with the video, don’t add any sound effects or at least lower the volume
You should do a video on concretions
Nice
You should put the Pearl in the Shell to keep it safe
🐞Is that a Qougog pearl?
❤❤❤❤I have 2 like that .... allllll white tho no purple on them 😮😮😮😮😮
Are oysters feel pain when they force them to open up to take out the pearl? I would never buy ivory. Beautiful, intelligent and amazing elephants need to be protected.
love this guy's accent
Have you looked at diamonds yet
Very rare
Pearls are cool
I found a pretty big quahog pearl in my little neck clam the other day and can’t find a jeweler that thinks it’s worth anything. How can I get in touch with Eric to send him a pic and get his opinion. One jeweler told me clams don’t make pearls. Only oysters. I know this is not true. I need someone that knows what they’re talking about.
I like his tone of voice
and the knowledge he has
QUAHOG PEARL FROM A CLAM.
Are you serious?! And that came from my home?! Go North Carolina! 🤘😀😎
Gaint clam pearl!
gallstones and kidney stones are the finest and rarest gems on the earth. i keep asking hbo for funding on a gem hunting series but they wont return my calls. calcified perineums a speciality.
They also make wampum from those shells. Very important to Native Americans.
is that a quahog pearl ? :)
Come for the beautiful girl, stay for the Eric.
What about conch pearl
The editing feels like it's geared towards a younger audience. Usually it's fine but this one is a bit too over the top.
Could you chill with the sound effects and background music?! way to distracting, you can barely hear the guest and he was very interesting conversation! Otherwise very pretty gems/bivalves
Hey Natalie, is amber consider an organic gemstone? 💎
Hi Justyna! Yes, Amber is considered an organic gemstone. Great question!
He looks at her as he would a pupil
Organicly aided? When are we going to start making kidney stone rings?😂
Ugh! That would be disgusting. I heard that someone did a bracelet with her own gallstones.
But why are pearls “gems?”
Are ivories gems?
Hi
*_The rarest pearl is a Flapjack pearl obviously_*
We want to see the pearls, you need better camera
Can’t handle so many little silly emotional reactions 🥴
hi

Loud background music, obnoxious sound effect, big fat pop up texts...
Who edited this mess
Nati Whatever yeah, all of the other videos are perfect, but what happened with this one?
Kades Chaos maybe they used weird headphones that made it sound normal. Happened to me before
the outro music comes on like 2/3s the way through the video, like what?
Usually the video isn't like this
blah, blah, blah and as Nati said, Loud background music, obnoxious sound effect, big fat pop up texts...
