1. 1lb ground beef
2. 1.5 cups of Total cereal
3. 1.5 cups of Oats
4. 1 egg
5. 5.5 tablespoons of Wheat Germ
6. 1 packet of unflavored gelatin
7. 2 tablespoons of Coconut oil
8. 2 tablespoons of molasses
9. 2 tablespoons of peanut butter
10. Pinch of salt

We just adopted a German Shepherd pup who is about seven months old and she’s a rescue as well and the poor thing is so skinny. You can see her hip bones. I can’t wait to try this recipe either.
Man, I just want to thank you and other creators for these videos. My female rottie is a rescue and she’s been neglected. I stick to the basics for my recipe of satin balls and your video is which i based it upon.

I'd switch a few things up and add a few things lol.. I'd add some kind of canned fish like Sardines or makeral, blackstrapped molasses vs regular, and undoubtedly put the shells of the eggs in!. Flax seed oil would make for a great sub for the coconut as well, total cereal is a genius level 10 for the nutrients.
Would 1 of those balls be per 25lbs? What's the portion Size?

Thanks for the recipe! I got a new pup and he is SKINTY! Don't know if the other puppies were keeping him from eating or what but we are going to try and get him on some satan balls and get him gaining weight.

I have a rescue great Pyrenees his name is Bolt he is a year and a half old an i have been having a hard time getting him to gain weight and he is good at getting him to eat

What can you substitute instead of total cereal
Question for ya. I adopted my Amstaff from a shelter at about 3 years old. He was eating kibble and some wet food for his 8 month stay.........
So is the raw still fine since he likely was only eating kibble his whole life?
(Original owner beat him so I highly doubt they took the effort or spend the money to feed him anything raw)

Great question , I would just Google total cereal and try and get it shipped, or look at the back of the box and try to find something with similar ingredients etc..
How do you feed your dog satin ball without them getting diarrhea?
Not sure. I guess make sure recipe is right. I’ve never heard of dogs getting diarrhea from. Problem something in ingredients not sitting well with his/her stomach
