Tip for fish fertilizer Sprinkle some used coffee grounds over your fertilizer will mute that smell Haven't tried indoors but worth a shot. Can be used outdoors to keep critters away. :)
The pot you showed without holes actually has pop out ones! You just stab it with a screwdriver where the circles are. I had one from Home Depot like this😊
I was going to say you are growing more beautiful with each video and then I heard you say your future baby. You are really glowing. Your videos are really good and I love them. Thank you and CONGRATS!
I always feel like a millionaire at dollar tree. I can afford every item in the store so no worries when I go there 😂😂. Great recommendations for item must haves. Thanks for sharing and stay blessed🤗👍❤.
i love your name, haha! my first plant was a succulent. sadly, it died a few months later, but i threw the leaves outside, and a few weeks later, i was shocked to see little baby succulents sprouting. i've been getting into plants since then, and one succulent led to me having about twenty in my bedroom 😌
@@dezzisparkles Something I have found to lessen the population of them is water from the bottom of the plant in their saucer. That way the top layers of the soil dry out and they cant lay their eggs there.
It's amazing how excited you are when talking about plants! As with many, I fell in love with plants/succulents over the past year and it feels like discovering a new world! Thank you for your video and to the plant community because it's one of the most welcoming I've come across! Keep up the great work!👍🤙
Connie, I love how you can see uses for every day items at the dollar store. I have learned a great deal from your videos and really appreciate your insight. I’ve gotten quite a few things at my Dollar Tree because of you. Thank you so much for being so informative!
You'd be surprised, those flimsy-looking trellises actually do hold up really well outdoors. I've used mine two years in a row so far. The first year, I used them for bush peas. The second year, I used them, along with stakes, as supports for dahlias. I know I'll be able to get more years out of them.
I dunno why I'm getting this, hello algorithms and phone trackers!🖐 But, I just went to dollar tree tonight for some glassware for propagation, and totally got a steal on little pots too. I didn't even know they had pots, and I think they're cute enough that I'll be going back tomorrow to scoop up some more. Can't beat $1 pots!
Thank you for this video. Not only is it extremely helpful, but it demonstrates how lower-income individuals can access the tools needed to begin a hobby that the market insists MUST be expensive. With the help of dollar trees tools and inexpensive plants from local nurseries, growing houseplants can be surprisingly inexpensive.
Love the trellis. I bend them to fit in smaller pots and they work great. Also most of the pots have circles on the bottom that are intended to be drilled into. Thanks to you, I use lots of dollar store items for my plants. Keep up the helpful content!
I wish she showed us the products in use. I would have liked it. If she does this video next year or an update a few months from now, I hope we can see her plants like she did with her heart shaped wreath.
i bought these small, glass jars that are so adorable. it comes in a bag, there aremseven tiny jars, and they have cute, brown corkscrews ... you'd think they'd be useless. if you fill them up with water, you can turn them upside down and the water won't fall out, unless you shake it, so that gave me the idea of using it to propagate. i ended up getting tiny stems of succulents at lowes, along with small stems of creeping jenny and mint, and it worked! i recommend those if you like tiny items!
These are some amazing ideas! I love dollar tree for my outdoor veggie garden and I hadn’t considered some of the things for my indoor plants. The clippers are probably my best dollar tree buy and they would be the last thing intuitively that you would think would be any good. I’ve bought expensive clippers and the always end up rusted and dull anyway. The dollar tree ones last just as long and don’t break like you would think.
I'm so glad I'm not the only one who uses Dollar Tree a ton for my plants. The plastic, terracotta pots saved me after I lost my job and needed to repot a ton of plants and cuttings. Ours restocks on plants supplies right after Xmas, which is great as many start seeds in January.

Good idea with the round one. Good job, I'm sure there are a lot of people out there that can use your ideas. While watching the garden markers idea you made me think of this.. D. tree has the skinny little snack bags that will fit over the marker and help protect from rain, dirt etc. I also put small potted plants in the big baskets, helps to move them around and water.. and I don't knock them over ❤️😀😀😀 Tks always good videos.

You just saved me so much money with this video! So many of my plants have outgrown their pots and I was dreading having to pay 10-20 bucks each! Subscribed!! ❤️❤️❤️
As someone who works at dollar tree currently (unfortunately). . Will admit some of these things are true except the glasses of all kinds are paper thin, and so are the storage baskets so I don't recommend them if you can afford to spend a little bit more on them. Also most dollar tree stores product do vary so make sure to call if your looking for something specific. 😌

You can buy super affordable and beautiful ceramic pots at TJ Maxx and Ross. They are way more durable and look better for years and years to come. And most of them come already with matching ceramic saucers attached. Buying $1 disposable plastic pots is not only terrible for the environment but also unnecessary, because the market already has better affordable options. Last year I got alot of seeds for my vegetable garden but this year I haven't seen any seeds. I hope this is only a temporary issue caused by the shutdown, and that it will not be repeated next year. There's too many hungry people who don't have access to food, and I've been trying to teach people how to plant food on their patios in the apt complex. Right now I have blueberries and raspberries growing with a few cherry tomatoes. I've been trying to set up a shelf to grow microgreens in my livingroom. There's a space that measures 66" wide by 23" deep and 8 ft ceiling. I've ordered a deep freezer and I plan to install shelves over the top of the freezer for the microgreens to grow. I want to install UV lights and I have (2) $20 sets of lights I got at Home Depot which should be ok to grow the plants. I've always liked spinach salads and I have been anemic in years past so this is a good set up to keep myself healthy. I buy a 60 ct of large eggs at Walmart when I get paid, which lasts about a month I think it's cheap protein that's good enough for the money. I can't raise chickens on my patio. I've been looking for land to start building my ranch but I haven't found it yet. I'm still hopeful. I want to wish you to have a Happy and Blessed Day.
Yes i buy their hanging but don't like the string or white rope it comes eith so i use thier blk chain hangers they sell indiviually with it and for pots i put holes in cause they are to small for such a big pot. I did get the eire badkets but they had no inserts do watching for them. If need i'll get chicken wire spray it blk and stuff with stagnim moss or something. Might go thrift shopping and find a pretty bowl to put in them. I have squarish containers with handles i planted peppers in ladt year and big salad bowls with handles for my bird of paradise in. A hot metal poke like a srewdriver or a metal skwer will poke holes in plastic if you heat them up.
I just subscribed to your channel and love your videos. I like all the items you showed especially the pots and trellises. Lots of nice stuff. Thanks for the spray bottle solutions too! Very helpful. 😊👌🇨🇦💯👍
Nice! I wonder if they have the plates to sit the pots in to catch the excess water and soil. But im definitely going to check that out. I recently purchased an aloe vera plant☺☺
I've decided to keep the aloe vera plant indoors. It's still in the small plastic container that it came in but soon I'd like to repot in a terra cotta pot

A hot metal poke like a srewdriver or a metal skwer will poke holes in plastic if you heat them up.
Can also use you wood burning tool
yes those are the large pots i got like 20
I just subscribed to your channel and love your videos. I like all the items you showed especially the pots and trellises. Lots of nice stuff. Thanks for the spray bottle solutions too! Very helpful. 😊👌🇨🇦💯👍
Great Suggestions!! Tfs ❤
Oh wow, I didn't know Dollar Tree sold TC pots! I've never seen them. I will keep an eye out next year.
Great video and ideas! I'll have to go shopping there to start my propagation.
Good ideas 🤔
Thanks for sharing ❤️
