Thanks for the tutorial, I'm about to embark on this lovely chore myself. You're video is going to be very helpful.
Gotta love replacing U-joints. Nice tutorial.
Always a fun way to burn a Saturday afternoon 😂👍
Great vid Dan, I still go back and watch your older muffler videos, loved your comparisons. Thanks again.
Thanks! I still have plans for more muffler vids in the future 😎👍
I went and got that tool cause your video and wow amazing difference thanks
I just bought one it makes the job so much easier 👍
Im looking to get an older silverado. This will be helpful for sure.
Thankfully, they’re not too hard to replace on these trucks!
Great video
Very helpful vid. Figured out what the squeaking was and I’m so ready for my 02 Burb to quiet down😂. One question though. Does greasing the part that goes back into the transfer case get rid of the infamous GM clunk?
How do you know when to replace these? Was it making a noise or a certain number of miles? Just curious.
That’s a good question. Mine was squeaking. The truck had 200k miles on it at the time of repair. My Silverado had 200k+ on it when I changed those.
They start to squeak when you start rolling
Mine has been clunking, especially in reverse. I checked it and it has a full 1/2" of play. Whoops.
Do you repair GM cars every day?
Is this a 4x4?
Yes, 4x4
I thought you have to burn out the GM ones
Didn’t have to for my Silverado or Sierra
@@TheDaninator maybe it’s a certain years keep up the good work, my brother thank you
Thats not easy i dont have that tool
You can rent the tool for “free” from your local auto parts store. You pay however much they charge for the tool, and when you bring it back, you get your money back.
Also you can find some inexpensive yet quality sets. Would be a valuable addition to your tools.
Nice video man💯
