Loved that Steve mentioned Savio Vega. The "Caribbean strap match" angle that those two had in 1996 was awesome. At one of the house show, the power went out and they worked most of the match in the dark. Classic!
Stone Cold is hands down my favorite wrestler of all time, a true GOAT and positive influence on my confidence as a young man. Steve-o, you helped me learn to skate hard, have fun and take chances, and Stone Cold taught me not to give a fuck and cut my own lane, regardless of whatever people say, you both had a positive influence on me and I’m beyond stoked to see this cast !

10 years ago my grandmother received a signed picture of stone cold from him when I was in Afghanistan. It was one of the coolest things I’ve ever been given. I now live in the Reno area too. The only other autographed picture I have is the one from Steve O and Tony hawk doing the wall ride together. This was such a cool podcast!

I have degenerative disc disease in my neck and my back and I’m only 44. My doctor told me if I ever got rear ended in a car accident again my neck would shatter like glass. I’ve been in so many car crashes + I did heavy lifting repetitive work in a factory for 15 years, here I am at 44, sore as hell and retired for life on pain medication and some days I have a hard time just walking around. It totally blows + too many other health issues. Thank God for funny shit on the internet. Thanks guys! Love your dog and the story of her rescue! ❤️
