I see brother Paul is striving harder to encourage and not have people think he’s condemning them. I’ve always loved his preaching, and I also love his humility and love towards Christ’ people!
Thanks very much, dear brother Paul for this precious teaching! God spoke through you straight into my heart with just the right mix of encouragement and exhortation. Stay blessed in Christ and all of your listeners as well! Best greetings from the lake of Zurich, Switzerland

22:38 at the flip side of the same token, as you grow in your knowledge of the Lord, the possibilities of decisions about the Will of God become narrower and clearer. If you filter the paths by overlaying the Law of God and His Character, and put God first over your will and plans, it becomes way easier to find the right path. Because His Will IS clear for all those who desire it.
I understood it like this: Sanctification is basically working out in a practical manner (lifestyle) our through God given new nature as a saved child of God. Like a princess who has to behave in an adaquate manner (= instruction). By our own limited strength, we are not capable to please God. But he promises us in his word, that through his holy spirit it is possible to grow in holiness (=encouragement). Finally, we have to take our ambitions for sanctification as serious as the urge to respire when under water, and to strive for a Christ like character and live with greatest vehemence (=exhortation). Does that make sense for you?
