I grew up reading some issues of this convoluted storyline so I have a healthy level of nostalgia for this. However I could not stomach the plot and just bought digital copies of it. Your tone and criticisms echos my sentiment towards this.

Yeah the plot really starts to go off the rails towards the latter half of this book, and even more so in Vol 2, so I can only imagine how frustrating it must have been for readers keeping up with the story month-to-month. Totally understand the nostalgia though!
Glad you like it! For me it was up and down, it has some high highs but some pretty low lows as well. Overall I think the good artwork outweighs the bad though
I have not heard the best things about the whole clone saga I.e these with the Ben Reilly run. I love 90’s comics so I would buy all 4 omnibus if they were in print but they are in price gauging mode so hard pass lol
Yeah there’s generally much better Spidey material out there. The smart move is probably to wait if you want to purchase these, I’m sure they’ll be reprinted. Although, Clone Saga 1 and Ben Reilly 2 are currently still relatively easy to find for normal prices.
