    Yep, Id purchase a great, affordable Iso E super brand, couldn't smell it (at first) now, I sense it in ANYTHING that uses it. Very helpful vid!☺️

    I get that fuzzy out-of-the-dryer musk too from woody aroma molecules. Wasn't a fan of most of Geza's Escentric line until 01+Iris and 01+Mandarin came out. Good stuff indeed.

    Thank you for the great content as always. I hope you're happy and healthy!
    As far as layering goes, I own a lot of attars. So, I'll usually start by applying one or two of those first, then my fragrance, and then Molecule 01 or 02! :D

      That’s a fantastic idea, which Attars should I use Molecule 01 and Molecule 02 with?

    Thanks for the tips, Sam! Always very informative. I didn't realize that Molecule 01 and Escentric Molecule 01 were different products.

      If you read the replies on Frangetica you’ll find most people don’t know they’re different. They are the worst named line in history.

    Ive worn Molecule 01 for years and always wear it with my regular perfumes. It smells like a sexy fresh cedar and everyone comments on how amazing it smells. It isnt one you smell on yourself like Baccarat Rouge 540 (way overpriced for something you cannot smell on yourself!)
    Molecule 01 is my absolute fave!

    Great video Sam! Will definitely try wearing M01 on top of my favorite fragrances. I used to layer them the other way around.

    Sam, any idea what the “dill pickle” note is in Santal 33, Byredo’s Sellier, and countless other hipstery santal-centered perfumes? Sellier does not list sandalwood which makes me think it’s not sandalwood related but many perfumes put it with sandalwood to mimic the S33 vibe. It’s a really persistent note that lasts beyond the other components of a perfume

      I'm not sure, but I get lots of Ambroxan and Javanol, the sandalwood aromachemical, in those. 🌹Xo Sam

    Synthetic ambergris isn't 'more ethical.' There's nothing unethical about real ambergris, it has to have been floating in an ocean for years before it's used for perfume.

    • @sarahkelly4095
      @sarahkelly4095 Місяць тому

      My understanding is that while it’s possible to get ambergris ethically without killing whales, you would want it to be certified “flottè” to be sure.

    I’m confused on which type of fragrances should I use molecule 01 & 02? In terms of seasonal scents. I was thinking maybe 02 for the cooler seasons and 01 for the warmer season. Let me know your opinion gladly appreciate it !

      @@MyWorldofFragrance okay I will give it a try. I tried every hack from moisturizing and putting Vaseline but the fragrance doesn’t last on my skin for more than 2 hours. Hopefully these will boost it
