Following his #1 smash hit 'Louder' - one of 2011's biggest-selling singles - DJ Fresh is back with his new single 'Hot Right Now', featuring the vocal talents of Rita Ora.
The 20-year-old singer-songwriter is being hailed as the jewel in the Roc Nation crown and was signed by Jay Z after one phone call. Rita's vocals give 'Hot Right Now' a distinctive twist and the track bristles with the kind of energy and signature beats that Fresh has become known for.
Now a household name and armed with the accolade of having the first dubstep/drum & bass track to top the national singles chart with 'Louder', DJ Fresh has recently raised the bar once again via a sold-out UK live tour featuring a full band (including a headline performance at Alexandra Palace in front of 6,000 people), his Future Jungle EP, remixes for Katy B, Hervé and Jessie J and winning 'Best Dance Act' at this year's Urban Music Awards - and his new album is already one of the most anticipated albums of 2012.
'Hot Right Now' is out now on Ministry of Sound Recordings.

Just looking through my really old mp3 player
Love Zomboy's older style (pre-Reanimated)
Zomboy, you never cease to amaze the EDM scene, just ignore the agruments of who copied who and who you copied. all that matters is that you shall not stop producing epic music like this :)
Nostalgia😔💿❤
¿Quien lo escucha en 2023? ❤
My 64gb iPod video from highschool brought me here
who listens to it in 2021? 🤘🏻
Oh and yeah, it depends on what you define as dubstep, but I think the early Benga and Skream releases really defined dubstep, Kode9 has always been more experimental and so.
Benga and Skream created the more modern wobbly sound in my opinion. The one which persists to this day.
right in the nostalgic feels man
el zomboy antiguo xD
Two fursuits name Phor and Valentine brought that song here
Me recuerda esos tiempos que practicada gimnasia que nostalgia
Those pesky trolls might bite lol
@UPANDCOMINGGSI Well that's because this is dubstep.. camo and krooked remix is drum & bass.. so you can't just compare them because they're not the same genre
@ThatscenekidLPer You have a point, but Skrillex is definitely not all dubstep. Both him and Zomboy mix various genres and rely heavily on the modern dubstep elements, but yeah, they're pretty different.
1. *'Cause, *You, *You're
2. It's not the late 2000's.
3. What has this got to do with you making me a sandwich?
"WE CHOOSE GHANDI WE CHOOSE GHANDI"
@NeoTStyle I guess I enjoy bland Skrillex drop shit, which I usually don't, because I thoroughly enjoyed this song.
0:53 best part!!
0:00 to 4:55 best part.
The intro and breakdown are the only really good parts of the tune. Everything else is just bland Skrillex drop shit.
lol ur probs like 14
zomboy is brutal, copying skrillex's style who is also shit
i found it on iTunes but I can't buy it in America!!!!!!!!!
FIRST... to not care which post number I am.
@TheKrwlng Don't compare a lesbian to a god. -_-
So it isn't okay for producers to use sounds similar to other producers because it's "STEALING".
That's a lot like saying that artists can't use similar art styles because its "STEALING".
YES HE USES SAMPLES FOR SOME OF HIS SOUNDS AND SOME OF THEM ARE FROM SKRILLEX SONGS
look through vengeance sound packs and you'll find an amazing amount producers use samples that you can recognize in those sound packs and other ones I'm sure.
if you can arrange them in the way Zomboy does and make it flow and groove the way zomboys songs do then you can talk shit.
@carlandkyle
Zomboy man, and i don't even listen to dubstep too often
LOL.
You need to check up on your facts. Only in the late 90's, 98~ or so even the slightest bit of dubstep existed. Back then it was just darker remixes of 2-step garage.
Skream's debut album came out in 2006, Bengas diaries of an afro warrior dropped in 2008(im a huge benga fan btw).
I checked from wikipedia, the earliest mention of the word dubstep was from 2003, and back then it was hardly what you'd call dubstep. Dubstep in its final form emerged 2006-2008.
@Krypzoki Even the Camo & Krooked track?!
This song is so amazing Zomboy is so BEAST!!!!!!
Funny that you should quote wikipedia yourself.
I didn't say it had to sound like this, like I said, I'm a big Benga fan and Bengas stuff does NOT sound anywhere near this.
What I'm saying is, there is a line between Dubstep and Garage, and nothing released before 2003 at the very least sounds like dubstep.
Show me dubstep from 98 then.
why is zomboy SO FUCKING GOOD
Okay, and will you please quote where you get your facts from? I mean without having a source for my arguments, I might as well say I was making dubstep since the 1970's.
I only checked a small part of my argument, I mean show me a dubstep release from 93 and I will grant I'm wrong.
I agree
Who cares when dubstep first appeared? What matters is that it fucking appeared in the first place :D
Who cares what genre it is, its all made (mainly) electronically anyways and 99% of it brings blood to our ears. What it was made for
Shut up and enjoy the music!
The three comments below were written by hipsters...
Its not even hot, Most people I know hate this and don't find any "musicality in it". Honestly, Electronic is more about the grooves and styles that you can find, not necessarily about the complex chord progressions or meaning. Basically think of dubstep producers as a bunch of Classical composers with macbooks and a different approach to writing music.
Except this song was released before the bangarang ep.
Maybe you should just admit he used skrillex drums exact same drums and uses his scream from bangarang and another scream from right in and another from knifeparty and another from baron dubstep?
I'd be surprised if he actually uses vengance packs.. some of those sounds are easy enough to make in massive if you know what you're doing... that skrillex 'right in' synth is easy to make. Like you say.. the trick is putting it all together!!
THIS REMIX IS FUCKING HOT!!!!!!!!
you only think you "like it" because it is in. It is a mental thing, and if it wasn't in you most likely wouldn't like it. Coming from a teen with a 100 in AP psychology.
OMG NEW SKRILLEX SONG
no mp3 please, CD where buy?
you dissed yourself by calling this dubstep. you wouldn't get it though since you started listening to "dubstep" just as it went pop in the US.
Anyone here in 2024? 🎊🎉🫶🏽
''You're only really in it cause it's hot right now''.(If you know what i mean).
EARRAPE
Beat two ghandi?
don't diss ages no matter how old you are.

I've been listening to dubstep for just over a year. It doesn't seem like much, but at first I absolutely hated it. Then I listened to some, and soon found out that some songs I already liked happened to be Dubstep... and from there my love for EDM music just snowballed. I'm not only in for the novelty.
this is the first time I heard the extended version of the track wow I been missing out from 2:58 onward.
He failed epically with that comment lmao :)
This remix is so sick that just for hearing it I catch a cold!
ain't nobody got time for dat!
as a fan of EDM for about 10 years i can say some of the stuff that has come out in the past fewe years is very meh. but this is pretty fucking sweet.
okay but it's not who samples what.... It's what makes our ears jizz sooooooo ZOMBOY
Summer vibes!!!!
Well I was talking about their album releases mainly. Yeah I've heard their early stuff, and it's sorta getting there, but it didn't really sound at all like dubstep before 2003.
And where did your 1993 come from anyway.
Epic. Captures the Knife Party style which is always welcome ;)
These are one of the songs that becomes popular and you knew it before anyone else!
i get where youre coming from... im listening to music i like, not because its labeled "dub" or "metal" but cause this song is awesome! now im 21 and most of my friends doest like dub, and especially metal which i very love. so i hear it myself when im not with them. this real love for the music gives me 2 great things, for once i can tell when a song suck shit, and i can really feel something inside when letting the music drive me. there always will be wannabies fighting over it doesnt help =\
watch out, pure 2012 summer banger!
lol so what if people are just getting into it? why hate? and if you're going to quote something, at least check that you're correct. "you know you're only in it cause it's hot right now."
Clicked on this by accident! But so glad I did! Definitely needs more recognition!
wow you must believe you are special
bloody awesome just makes me wanna dance
seriously, still?

Man im a teenager eather...i listen to dubstep since fking 2007 cus it rocks now... did u knew that dubstep was created in 1999?When electronic music was about at its hights? or did u knew that what we hear now is nothing like it was back then? or that nobody cared about dubstep cus then we all heard hip hop? that it was a mainstream until 2011 ? or that dubstep is harder to create because its not simple as u hear it? MAYBE U DON'T oops sorry MUTED DISSED U MAD BRO?!?!
@carlandkyle C&K easy, this is sick like, just personally think this sounds a bit too skrillex-ish
