+Winston Cook Actually, the samples are more so mirrored. Before being an EDM producer, Zomboy used to be a sound developer so he has a grasp on how to develop a sound to his liking. No samples have been ripped, just inspired. There's a lot of similar sounding growls that even I've come by sounding like both of their growls only because it's such an easy sound to develop (Dirty Throat, Modern Talking, Brauner Tube, etc. using NI Massive) . But Mike's right, he put a lot more into his work.
+Nathan Alayna Zomboy samples the synths from tracks, he does not recreate them. There is a way to rip the synths from the actual track, it must be a very complex way, I dont know how to do it though
Stormaggedon It's a bit late now I know but Zomboy once said in an interview that skrillex's music inspired him too produce aswell. That's probably the reason why Zomboy sampled this growl and surely more sounds of Skrillex soundbank ;p

It's about a lot more than individual songs, it's about the direction the genre is moving in. Either you're not much of a "music person", or you just haven't been alive long enough to see/experience what I'm talking about.
Both are great artists. I switch from all of Zomboy's EP's to everything Skrillex has done when I workout/drive. I'm pretty sure they are both homey's considering they both do remixes with each other. Love 'em both. #beasts
