I dont come back to ambient pieces nearly as much as this one, theres something about it I cant quite say. Its like Silent Hill and heaven at the same time. You can hear the emotional echoes of life itself throughout the years of its existence in this.
This song has been one of the main soundtracks that I’ve listened to since December. Its guided me through the darkest time period of my life. I can’t sleep without having this song play through my ears. It helps me block out the outside world in order to dwell within my own mind. This song has been healing me and still is. In the physical and dreaming worlds.
Easily one of my favorite ambient tracks in many years. It's indulgent, but I think that's what I love about it, the intricate exploration of textures from such a simple structure. I guess you could say that about all ambient but this is one of those rare tracks I can't stop listening to or being more impressed by as time passes. Really exquisite work.
