I have a 2014 RX 450H- still runs perfectly. It will be interesting to see (in the long haul) if these smaller engines have the same longevity as the bullet-proof V-6s. Great review!
I like those V6 RX's however they are one of the top stolen vehicles and I keep seeing people posting on the forums with quotes for thousands for insurance.
Fabric underside of steering wheel is actually a knee heater. I like the modern take on the electronic shift knob. It allows the car to change its own direction when self parking too.
It also puts the vehicle in park if you open the door while it is in motion. Our 2021 ram has that feature and it actually has a motor in the shift knob that rotates it. It makes an interesting sound.
I love my 2024 RX450h+! It is super quiet, and I can easily do my daily drive with the all-EV range of 37 miles (42 miles during the warmer months!). The mesh panel under the steering wheel, (and also on the front of the glovebox door), is a radiant heater that comes on with the front heated seats to warm the lap area, and it works wonderfully! The steering wheel buttons, tied to the heads-up display, is very easy to learn and use.
Price is criminal for a 4 cylinder engine. I’ll get the Mazda CX-90 and Acura MDX over this for their engine and better drive trains. The new Lexus RX isn’t as butter smooth as the old one, especially when you try to accelerate. Toyota dropped the ball with this refresh for me.
Because they are pricey, they are not selling as quickly which allowed me to purchase one at invoice. Also, the small velvety pad underneath the steering wheel actually holds a heater. Further, the EV hold button allows you to keep the battery fully charged so that if you go into some of the larger cities that have a small requirement, you can switch to 100% EV mode from a full battery.
We get battery conditioning on laptops and smartphones nowadays from charging to 100%, usually only charge up to 80% to maintain battery life. How does this work on cars if charging it to 100% every time, wouldn't it shortens the battery life?
Owning the RX350 gas only model, the only thing that pisses me off about this car is they should have included massage function on this top luxury trip only. Not on any of the F sport models. Because they come with 6 piston brakes. And only on the 450h plus they include the function for you to control the front passenger seat on the side like Hyundai and Kia. And last but not least they should allow you to use the whole screen for the infotainment. The seat and HVAC controls take up a lot of space. But only on the Lexus maps can the screen expand. I’ll be making a review on my channel soon
The 2025 XC60 T8 Ultra gives a nominal electric range of 81 km with its 18.8 kWh battery and a real life range that can be easily 70 km or more. I'm surprised why it was mentioned as one with the lowest electric range
The Volvo Canada website says 58kms and that’s about what we got with it when we had it last year. Where did you get this info? (Genuinely curious). All of these PHEVs can do a bit better when they are city driven.
Its always funny seeing some reviewers get to hyped up about 6 second 0-60 acceleration time as if they never reviewed another vehicle of its competitor. Says a Lot about the reviewer.
Buying this in Ontario is calling trouble for yourself or becoming a victim of Carjacking and Sky rocketing Insurance.Thank you Lexus but we are not interested in calling this trouble 😂😂😂
Just as I have kept saying everywhere, the infamous Toyota hater (me) was right for saying the RX is DOA Due to it’s inability to compete and subpar execution, and the fact that it’s on the same level as a Mitsubishi Mirage holistically, the RX has ostensibly been discontinued
It's really sad for me as a Lexus and Genesis fanboy.. Toyota is a Billion-dollar company and yet they don't even seem to put the effort... People still defend them because of "rELiABiLiTY" but there is no point of having so- called reliability if your LUXURY car can't compete the germans anymore... My hope for Lexus is now only for the NX, RZ and LS.. the LC is all sold out now.. The factor I can give this RX is that it looks stylish.
@@User-J-f9t luxury cars honestly aren’t worth it anymore imo. I’d personally rather get a nicely packaged Toyota or Mazda or something similar instead.

Same RAV4 prime, I go for that… waste of money. Instead of fuel saving, Lexus has to do more performance hybrids.
The blame is on our EPA mandates, not auto manufacturers.
They do, rx500h
@@Ignoto1392 if you want performance hybrids go to Volvo or bmw. Lexus performance hybrids are slow

cpo?

Wrong.
x5??? Bmw x5? If so you got fucked. Those shitty german cars dont even last. Your head gasket will blow out at 50k miles easily

Longer battery range, more torque from larger battery
