I believe Abby (dead wife) is basically a wolf in sheep's clothing, trying to make Boyd give up (they use her image to mess with him), but I believe Father Khatri is his conscience/subconscious - kind of like Harry was for Dexter. He's basically talking to himself, working things out in his mind. I am starting to think that Jim and Tabitha are like Rick and Lori in Walking Dead and Ethan is Carl. They just let him wander aimlessly and never seem to know where he is off to - he is a little menace! Kid, just stay home (and can you guys just keep tabs on your kids in a town that holds you hostage and has creatures of all kind????? LOL). I cannot understand why Tabitha didn't at least tell her mom where she was. Even if she couldn't explain, she basically said HI, I am alive, BYE. How can you do that to your mother? I am assuming they have had all kinds of people looking for the family and have been devastated. I can't get a handle on the timeline though - how long they have really been gone. Is it months? Years? Weeks? I think it was good that Tabitha went to a priest; I think he was more open to what she was saying (even if it sounded crazy) than the police or doctors would have been. He basically boiled down her crazy story to her being either abused or in trouble and that she had escaped from a bad situation or was in a bad way due to the loss of her baby Thomas. I will say the worst part was losing Mrs. Lu. That was so wrong! She was one of my fave characters. Poor lady. Kenny is going to go out of his mind! Plus that one girl complaining that Fatima took too long in the bathroom (heheh); hey, she's pregnant in a demon town - she might need the facilities a lot! While Randall saves Ethan, his sister, at the end, why are people putting up with his BS? He is annoying as heck.
Poor Kenny lost both parents to the monsters. I have a feeling he might go full John wick this season. Plus I think he's going to hold a lot of anger towards Boyd for letting his mother die even though there was nothing he could do.

ill have to agree , Definity a nod to Mr. king lol and i love shows that take the slow burner approach and not rush through the story, sadly most shows they try to squeeze as much as they can into a season. Not a lot of shows nowadays gets me hook like from lol
Well, in terms of horror they did have Chapelwaite, but they canceled it. They claimed a season two was happening. Of course they have nice selection of movies. But shows in general? Yeah, no. Maybe just Hotel Cocaine and older shows like Godfather of Harlem and DC’s Pennyworth show that isn’t renewed. They do have other versions of horror like Silence of the Lambs in 4KUHD and 1408 Director’s Cut.

From is a guilty pleasure of mine, I both like and hate it. It's a cozy show and I like that, but man are the characters dumb, especially the group mentality.
As I watch it it feels like a live action south park, the way the town folk all jump to their first reactions in the dumbest ways. I'm sure that if you had the exact same script and animated the South Park characters to it no one would be able to tell the difference!
I still watch it though, even though it's obvious they're making it up as they go along. Endless sidequest: the series!
I think time moves the same inside Fromville as in the real world. Remember when Kristi's girlfriend showed up, she said it had been 6 months since Kristi went missing and it was 6 months inside as well. Time seems to be consistent.
Only issue with From is the same problem Lost had. No answers to any of the questions. This is the third season and very little solutions given out. Horror aspects are good though. Don't see why they don't set up traps for the creatures like covered spiked pits and traps. It seems like if you can trap them and then expose them to daytime it may hurt them. Just a thought.

MGM+ TV series recommendations...Chapelwaite (only one season) and War of the Worlds (newest TV series version from 2020's)

I might have to look into this series....I just finished watching Strange Darling and it's now in my top 3 of the year.....along with The Substance and Abigail
It's a great show and if you're anything like me you'll be hooked from the very first episode.
