Ian, I mentioned you in a video that I posted during April. I pulled an Alphonso Davies 1/1 Superfractor from a 20/21 Topps Chrome Blaster Box. I've been given estimates on value anywhere from $1k-$3k. I thought that I might make the list this month but no dice. No worries, I love the videos and look forward to seeing more big pull highlights! 😎🤩

Not your fault Ian, but how boring is a bunch of Wembanyama hits in one of the 100 different parallels in each product. This just illustrates how crazy the market can be.
Yea all these parallels are going to be worth 1% of what they’re worth today in the future! Only ones that matter are the base, gold, 1/1, etc.
Just pulled a Select Victor Wembanyama Gold LODESTAR out of 10 from a target blaster! Biggest pull of my life for sure!! Any idea on value?? I just sent to get graded, should have it back in a week

Man, I should have clipped my Victor pull from retail. I pulled a victor star factor from a Revolution Blaster last weekend.
on April 29th at Cards HQ break in Atlanta GA I was fortunate to have 2 hits, 2023 Topps chrome Sapphire baseball. a red Logan O'Hoppe RC 4/5 #363 color match and on April 30th a Seiya Suzuki 1/1 Padparadscha #183 then on May 2nd with Cards HQ Atlanta 2023/24 Panini Prizm Victor Wembanyam RC pink ice #136 it has been a great week to participate with Cards HQ breaks on Whatnot!

why do these breakers feel like they need to put their thumb print right in the middle of a card. that guy with the stained glass Stroud.....
I broke with those guys before , I hit a silver Prizm cj stroud and he bent the corner while putting it in the top loader, instead of sending the card to psa and potentially having a 1000 card , I sold it for 150

For someone new to collecting sports cards can someone explain why so many people that are opening products distinguish when the product is from a big box retailer or from a LGS or the distributor/manufacturer themselves?
Like if there is a box that contains 6 packs of 2023 basketball at Target/Walmart and then I see what looks to be a box of 6 packs of 2023 basketball and they are both the same set.
How or why is this different though?
I'm guessing .... based off things said in the video I can tell that packs bought at retail is viewed in a very negative way
I'm guessing it's for one of these reasons
1. Different pull rates?
2. Hobby boxes or boxes not from retail maybe have some exclusives that are big cards and retail boxes don't have those
3. Improved odds? Maybe Hobby Boxes or a box not available at retail have it similar like Pokemon for example that a booster box has pretty much a guarantee but not a 100% guarantee of getting X # of hits out of a box.
However if you buy the equivalent # of packs at target or something it's just completely random and no set # of hits can be expected.
So you can get really lucky with "loose" packs at a retail store but buying a box you can get a better # of hits like 98% of the time
3. Pricing maybe? This I'm sure plays a part. Retail average pack cost is X amount and packs from LGS is average $X per pack?
With some experience in the TCG hobby (pokemon, One-piece, MtG, Yu-Gi-Oh) I'm gonna gusss it's something like above.
Any help or guidance would be much appreciated!
hobby boxes obviously get you better pulls/autos. retail is tough to hit something big. odds are kinda crazy for a retail blaster. target/walmart have different color variants for their mega boxes. this years target nba select megas have red cracked ice and purple cracked ice. walmart has blue cracked and pink cracked. im sure lots of people weigh like value packs/single retail packs. packs that weigh have a "hit" in them since they are printed on a heavier card stock. price does play a good part. most blasters are $30 now (pre covid they were $20)
mega box is semi equivalent to an ETB pretty much. megas have gone up in price after covid. hell everything did in the card world.
and yeah booster box is basically a hobby box.
as for when they mention where the box is from, my guess is just to let you know what you can expect when you open them and probably not lead people on etc.
lots of people dont like buying retail since it is a lot of base but simply put its just more affordable to most. no shame in buying them clearance packs when youre at walmart picking up groceries or a blaster just to open a pack when you have time.

I love your vids man! I’m not excited about the hobby’s near future though. There’s become waaayyyy too many parallels and “chasers” that in reality are still overprinted and over designed.

@@CDubRealTalk you’re probably not old enough to understand. Same thing is happening that happened in the 90’s. All these “Wemby” cards will be worth 1/4 of what they’re going for now in two years. Cards are for collecting, not long term investing. Same reason you can get a Lebron, Curry, or any other modern superstars rookie for under 100.00 There are a ton of them printed. It’s smart of the companies because they make a boat load of money, but if you think spending thousands hunting for Wemby base cards and parallels are worth it from a money standpoint, you’re definitely wrong.
Trying to compare this modern market to the early 90's trash cards market is asinine. The market is pushing out the dollar bin sifters and ushering in big money investers. You may be old, but you sure arent wise.
How do i get on the list with a good pull?
I know Wembanyama is the big seller right now but a little diversity would be nice. Also isn’t showing group breakers defeating the point of showing retail breaks. I want to see the everyday Joe’s like myself pulling retail the breakers have your other top ten for that format.

Over 52 thousand Wembenyama prizm cards already sold just on eBay alone...but yeah these cards are super rare and valuable lol. Oh wait I forgot, some have different colors or a number stamped on the back. Really creative and special.
