Very good demo, this is the way the presets should be shown - excellent musical ideas, great playing + some mod wheel action!

Thanks for the vid. Got this and the other plug in instruments when they were discounted, they are all great additions to the MPC. It is very convenient to have them on the MPC when you don’t want to hook up hardware synths.

I wish at end you would play some presets with some other tracks going so we could get a feel for how they would sound in a mix...even just drum-break would really be helpful, since I don't make music where you only hear 1 sound at a time.
Also some presets don't sound all that great on their own but when playing it melodically with some drum & maybe a bass-line, that's when its true magic shines on the track....Just food for thought.

Good suggestion...I'll use drum breaks in some of the next ones. Maybe just like....quick listen by itself, then with a beat?

Nice one oh Pink one. Just downloaded the demo versions of this and OPX4 and they’re a big step up from Hype and the other bundled instruments. I did wonder though - these are not cheap, do you know If you purchase the Force / MPC instruments do you also get the VST versions?
Akai announced that you get the vst free and there would be a link in your account if already purchased. I haven't had the time yet to check mine.

We've got a fresh update! 3.2.1 Finally brings us effects chain rearranging, a la 3.2s track rearrange. Makes sense. Also, it makes importing MPC projects easier. Looking forward to your thoughts!

I just love the Moog lol, copped this for supercheap, have the Arturia Moog and im also thinking of getting a Behringer too - i just cant get enoooough

The Hill, GForce, & Mini Thump for me Please. 🤣 really nice sounds. I’m surprised. Dark Burble was nice too! Oh and Sinister when u changed it to a voice! Reaper was dope too ok I’m done.

Sounds pretty good, but is it necessary if you already have the Odyssey Plugin?
I wish Odyssey sounded as good as the Mini D (I have both)
They are just diffrrent. And the Odyssey can only be paraphonic. The mini D can be up to four voices
@@PinkBuddhaAcademy It seems Odyssey can be paraphonic on two voices (duo), but also monophonic, or polyphonic up to 4 voices.
Maybe i just can't handle its synthesis engine, but i failed at programming any lush patches, unlike those i create with the Odyssey version in Korg Gadget (Lexington).
That's why i tend to think Mini D is a better Moog emulation than Odyssey is for Arp... But for sure, they're quite different beasts :)
Do you personally prefer the Mini D or the op4? Im wanting to be able to learn synthesis on the go with the mpc which do you think would be better for this?
They are two completely different approaches to synthesizers. Most people would tell you that FM is difficult to dial in, but I'm finding that with the modern applications of FM, it's not so bad. Maybe you should watch some demos of FM and Subtractive synths and see what sounds better to you.
I second this reply. They are such totally diffrrent synths. Not really much of a comparison. The mini D is going to shine more on mono patches, and the opx more on Polysynth patches

Dos it work with 10.1 firmware? Bc the newest update is buggy and I can't record audio track so I don't want to upgrade

It's nice, but it doesn't hold a candle to Arturia's mini, which has a less linear behaviour, despite the similarity. I've had a chance to test both and what comes out is that the Arturia has a more organic sound. The only thing a bit bad about the arturia is the resonance of the filter, which tends to have steps, whereas the Mini D's filter has no steps and I like it much better. At first I seriously thought the Mini D was a Mini v 2 of the arturia, (it is now on its third version). In any case, they are very very similar.
Interesting....haven't really seen or looked into that one. But the reality is you can't have the arturia on the mpc/Force in standalone!

For the current price I’d rather pay a little more for a Berhinger Model D . Second hand there’s not that much difference. And I don’t want to support Akai terrible bug filled unfixed latest software. I’ve just lost trust in them Im going to wait till they fix it .. which may well be a year away or maybe never.
There's always something great about putting your hands on real knobs!
Damn those bugs got me to. Now I can't connect my mpc to the program. I have to work in mpc standalone
